So there are several points I need to make. This was once a list of shows that started on Monday and ended on Sunday, but the various web sites i tried left out Saturday several times during the summer. I did not try the site I use now at that time, or that might not have changed. So you're seeing the night of the Super Bowl a week later than you once did.

The Winter Olympics closing cermeonies were nothing to write home about. While not in prime time and not on next week's list, the Daytona 500 was the number one show for the day, and "60 Minutes" beat the closing ceremonies in prime time, though the closing ceremonies were second among prime time shows.

For this week so far, I have posted the prime time numbers only. Two weeks ago when all the numbers became available, I posted the numbers for the various pre-game shows, if you're interested, but not in the first post on the thread. The site I normally use showed no prime time shows for any network other than NBC and no numbers at all for the networks that weren't "the big three". But when you look at how many viewers the other networks had, it's truly pathetic. And The CW may have set a record for fewest total viewers ever, at least since I've been doing this. One episode of "Two Sentence Horror Stories" had less than one hundred thousand viewers when you see three digits beyond the decimal instead of one, but all three episodes that night had 100,000 viewers when rounded.

Still making progress. The Olympics really didn't get a lot of viewers, and yet it seems no one is watching anything else.

Oh, wait, they're watching "Jeopardy". Still doesn't explain what everyone is doing.

I just looked at the commentary and on two nights the Olympics are down 60 percent with the target audience from four years ago. I don't know about total viewers because they don't provide commentary about that.

That's it for this week. I noticed there was a delay due to President's Day this week, but I never got around to doing this yesterday so maybe it was just as well. I had planned to do it, but it just didn't happen.

"Walker" has new episodes starting this week, I assume. Because things got so bad I thought he'd have to call Chuck Norris.

On another site I saw "Promised Land" has been cancelled. No surprise there.
