And I'm back. Big difference from last week.

Some explanation is necessary for Wednesday. In the commentary section, it states that in some time zones 10:00 programming was interupted by war coverage. For each episode during the 10:00 hour, the number of viewers 18-49 is described as "until interrupted". Ratings information, even for specific demographics, is provided, and it appears thanks to already being popular, NBC won. ABC coverage began at 10:10, CBS at 10:15, and NBC at 10:28. Interesting fact about "A Million Little Things": More women than men watched, but when war coverage came on, male viewers increased. Didn't work for "Good Sam", which is beyond hope. Older people quit watching NBC for war coverage, while more of them watched when it began on ABC. The number of younger people in all groups watching increased on ABC and CBS but was not affected on NBC.

"Law & Order" could have dramatically increased NBC's numbers on Thursdays, but it only seems to have worked at 8:00. Apparently there can be too much of a good thing.

Why didn't The CW have new episodes of everything?

I should mention "Legacies" had a new episode. Other CW episodes that were new did well for The CW. Superman has his powers back.

I see 28 people have already been here, but I don't know how that works. Some of those people might be me.

Because of what happened last summer, this week includes the Olympics Closing Ceremonies, which were considerably less than spectacular. I'm sure they were counting on a huge lead-in to the premiere of the show identified on the web site as "AGT Extreme". They didn't get it.

Because of the way I did things, "Station 19" was tied for 19th and "48 Hours" was 48th. And "Shark Tank" was 34th with 3.4.

Sunday showed a slight improvement for The CW but even by standards, that was bad.

More older viewers watched "Summer of Soul". I guess so, since they were there. Or at least alive.
