I'm a day early. I have a problem being here tomorrow.

Fridays on The CW are back to normal. Saturdays don't look much better. The strange increase in the second episode of "Whose Line" happened, but being new didn't help the first "World's Funniest Animals".

Basketball is getting big numbers in prime time (keep in mind games start or end outside of prime time but one number is shown for the entire game). Saturday's games were in the afternoon and didn't do too well.

Look at those basketball numbers!

Walker needs Chuck Norris to rescue him, but maybe when new episodes return things will improve. The superhero shows (is Kung Fu a super power?) made a slight improvement.

"Masked Singer" ranks second to "Survivor" in all target audiences but of course all the Chicago shows are in reruns. I find it surprising watching dominos fall gets an audience, but that show is up slightly. "Flatch" is unwelcome.

Interesting fact about "NCIS" this week: if the site I use showed two places beyond the decimal, its total number would be the Devil's number.

Superhero shows are back on Tuesday and doing reasonably well.

"Abbott Elementary" hasn't done spectacularly well but this week it was number one for the night 18-34. "This Is Us" is number one with women and 18-49. Old people, however, like the FBI shows.

"The Good Doctor" has a disturbing distinction this week. While it does well with seniors, the color for 18-34 was red, something that usually happens only with The CW.

"9-1-1" and "American Idol" are getting the big numbers with target audiences. "The Neighborhood" is number one 18-34 Mondays.

"Mr. Mayor" will not be re-elected, I am assuming, and The Rock is experiencing a smackdown.

That's it for this week. The Oscars got 16.6 million viewers, if you're interested, and the basketball game that ended in prime time 13.6. The Oscars won with everyone except men (of course).

In the commentary section there was this: "For those interested in quarter-hour numbers given the events of the night, there was no particular bump at the time of The Slap–which makes sense, since no one knew it was going to happen–and there was a small but noticeable increase for Will Smith’s Best Actor acceptance speech later, at a time when due to the late hour, the show normally goes down."

Next week I'm going to have to double-check "Riverdale" unless it was two hours, but the show still got the same pathetic numbers. Maybe so few people watched "March" that it disappeared.
