I've had some Internet troubles today but I'm here now.

Yes, I was busy yesterday and that will normally be the case.

The CW promised new shows would improve their Saturday numbers, and added, "Would I lie to you?" And yet they could not make the magic happen.

Interesting development with "Shark Tank". I don't know if I hadn't been paying attention but it was dark green with 25-54 and nearly tied "Smackdown" with that audience. "Smackdown", in case anyone has forgotten, does very well with all the age groups except the seniors who are all watching the crime shows.

"Dynasty" was up slightly.

Three of the four CBS comedies were reruns, so there is a lot of green for the first two hours of ABC Thursday. Except with men. Understandable.

However, "How We Roll" ended up in the gutter without the Ghosts. No excuse, because "Bull" actually did quite well, dark green with seniors.

"The Masked Singer" didn't do quite as well but still ranked quite high, except with men. "Survivor" got the highest numbers for the night (or tied, in the case of young women) except with seniors who spent the entire night in Chicago.

I did have an Internet problem, but I didn't lose anything because it cleared up on its own in time.

The NCAA Championship had 9.5 million viewers on TBS and 5.6 million on TNT. Don't ask me why they needed two separate broadcasts.

And while all this was going on, The CW, CBS and Fox had reruns. You can tell. No, NBC was not doing reruns. But "The Endgame" might have come.

"This Is Us" was number one for the night--even with young men!--except more seniors watched a RERUN of "FBI". As expected, far fewer men watched.

"Abbott Elementary" was number two with 18-49, the audience that counts.

And that's it.

I'm not even sure why I should bother with 6 minutes of The Grammys when the rest of the show was outside of prime time. Or 11 minutes of a NASCAR race.

At least funny animals attracted a few more viewers to The CW which is doing so pathetically on Sundays you can't even imagine. I'm seeing three digits beyond the decimal. Reruns of CW shows didn't do much better on other nights. "The Flash" was up slightly, but the way, because it wasn't. That doesn't explain what happened to "Kung Fu".

I've already said it but "Transplant" needs a transplant to keep it alive. "Good Sam" is also on life support. At least "The Good Doctor" is no longer red with 18-34. It's all the way up to yellow.

I'll likely take just as long to return next week. And with the holiday, the numbers might not be here early anyway.
