And I'm back.

I must have misunderstood the number of prime time Jan. 6 hearings. There has only been one night so far and I'm about to go look up their numbers, and those of the competition.

"Charmed" had its series finale but few if any cared. When rounded, the number is the same as last week but I seem to recall it was a lower number then. Not sure if "Dynasty" did yet but The CW moved up slightly by airing animal videos.

If anyone wonders, even without a Triple Crown possibility (did any horses even run in all three races?) 4.7 million watched and the race got the highest numbers for any Saturday show with all audiences except "ABC World News Tonight" had a slight edge with seniors.

Each network's broadcast had a different name on the web site. To make it clear, I used one standard title and didn't even capitalize. ABC for some reason had a very large audience and its coverage of the hearing was the number one show of the night with all groups. However, afterward, while there is "Pride to be seen", they didn't.

Fox aired reruns and didn't benefit. "Walker" had an increase in viewers according to the comments (which are always referring to 18-49) but the total did not change. There is a dramatic difference in the color when you look at "Legacies".

NBA finals do quite well but I question Jimmy Kimmel continuing his prime-time tradition. The two nights I've seen so far he had the same very low number. Oh, wait, looking at total male viewers, that's a high number. Of course, the game got Super Bowl level numbers with men by comparison.

From the comments: "The network’s lame duck Mondays (both shows have already been canceled) kicked off ..." This refers to The CW, where the color change is dramatic.

CBS is getting amazing numbers on Mondays with reruns. Particularly with 25-54, where "The Neighborhood" is narrowly behind "Ninja Warrior". Seniors love the show too, along with the entire lineup.

Weird phenomenon on Tuesdays: "FBI" is usually on top but "Most Wanted" is most wanted of the three. Maybe because fewer people watched the episode when it originally aired. With seniors, it's still third.

By the way, those are new episodes of "Duncanville". I don't know what "Men's International Friendly" means, but that's all they had room for, assuming "Int'l" means "International", and nothing in the comments. I shouldn't have even bothered since it ran over by four minutes, and the number was for a broadcast that started before 5:00.

And "Tom Swift" did worse this week than during its debut week. The CW didn't do much with an awards show on Sunday.

CBS did somewhat better this week. I guess its viewers don't like basketball.

Kimmel did even worse on Sunday and the number of men wasn't anything to write home about.

I'll probably be back on Wednesday next week. And with the holiday, there could be a delay.
