Are you ready for some football?

It must be the regular season but even a typical Saturday game won't get those numbers. I assume ABC was airing a college game. There was no commentary. Just "Analysis to follow". But after the holiday we were lucky to have anything.

Watch the chocolate showdown! It will make the magicians' audience disappear.

And The CW may have had its worst night in history. Really? "Dynasty"? Wasn't that cancelled? Wasn't there a finale? It. Won't. Go. Away.

Fox continues to air baseball, but it's not getting viewers when there are other sports options.

College football on Fox is temporarily on Thursdays. I should mention there were two pre-game shows, one mostly outside of prime time with only 3 minutes after 8. 1.2 million people watched the entire show. Hardly worth mentioning. The other pre-game show lasted 3 minutes but got a lot more viewers.

Chicago Wednesdays are returning gradually. It helps one show if a good show is its lead-in.

"Big Brother" was way out in front both Wednesday except with seniors and Thursday except with seniors and men (who like football).

One of the worst hours of TV ever for The CW. Not even Stargirl, One of the superheros, could help "Wellington Paranormal". And you won't believe this: the second episode was not a rerun. I checked the commentary. One good thing about the commentary is that the 18-49 number was not so low it had to be explained.

As usual, "The Bachelorette" is way out in front except with seniors. And getting "This Is Us" numbers with women; you can't even SEE second place.

That's it for this week.

The CBS football game had fewer viewers (note that the number is for the entire game, not the 40 minutes in prime time) that what followed. That will soon change.

I guess NBC no longer cares who you are.

A better Sunday night for The CW but it was an awards show and should have done better. MTV, however, got only a few more viewers, so the total was about twice that.

Among shows that were supposed to start in prime time "Big Brother" was number one except with seniors and men.

I can't say when I will get here next week, but it looks like it'll be Wednesday. The next week all I can do is post what I can early and hope for more time on Tuesday.
