Oops. I got distracted. Not much to say about Saturday except the comments did mention CBS college football, which was in the afternoon and attracted and amazing 11.6 million viewers.

Amazon's Thursday night game had 8.8 million viewers after the pre-game which had 4 million.

CBS Thursday is up at least for the first hour. ABC Thursday is down.

The CW did well with a special on Queen Elizabeth on Saturday, and "Penn & Teller" have new episodes. And so does "Whose Line". "Walker" fell a little and "Stargirl" recovered slightly.

And "The Real Love Boat" needs to call the Carpathia.

"The Winchesters" got off to a great start. Whatever "Professionals" is, it didn't. "All American" has fumbled. I don't think its spinoff ever did well.

I forgot to mention a post-game show (or at least that's what I think it was) on Fox on Saturday which included a mere six minutes in prime time. Hardly a point in mentioning it but I did. Also, while not labelled as such with the limited room for show titles, there seems to have been a post-game show which was not mentioned in the comments on Wednesday. Amazingly, the playoff game equaled the number (rounded) for "Masked Singer" which it pre-empted.

I have a question about alphabetizing. I was taught don't include "a", "an" or "the" when one of those is the first word. But what is "La" in "La Brea"? That show was tied (when rounded) with "The Good Doctor" if that show had kept last week's number. It "plunged" according to the comments, so there is no problem. "Good" comes before "La" but after "Brea".

18-34 viewers love "Bachelor in Paradise" but even women don't care all that much, as other shows are doing better with them.

"The Rookie Feds" isn't going to make it through boot camp or whatever the FBI has. It's certainly not doing as well as the CBS shows about the federal cops.

How nice! The software glitch that keeps the CW numbers from being lined up nicely has been cured.

You can always tell who has the late Sunday game, but the benefit is just about gone for Fox by the end of the night. Amazingly, the CBS dramas did not lose any viewers and "East New York" improved. "NCIS: Los Angeles" didn't hold on to those viewers but it's an improvement over an encore from the previous week.
