I had a delay, but I am here. I actually thought I could squeeze in enough time at the end of the day, and maybe even get things started, but that didn't happen.

"Young Rock" got a Smackdown, and Lopez defeated Lopez but not by as much.

Penn & Teller, unlike Criss Angel, made the magic happen.

If anyone is interested, Thursday Night Football had 7.9 million viewers, with 3.0 million watching the pre-game.

Chicago Wednesdays are back. You can always tell.

Everyone seems off on Thursday (The CW is off only slightly) but I blame the World Series.

By being late I can provide election coverage numbers. It is truly weird to see the color green for a Fox show that isn't sports. But this means everyone was down. 3.3 million watched ABC's coverage, 2.6 million watched CBS (wow, in the days of Walter Cronkite they were THE news network) and 3.1 million watched NBC. And 18-34 viewers really don't like CBS. Only one number is shown for each network, unlike in the cable listings where they show each hour.

Fox News had 7.3 million viewers from 8 to 9, 7.8 million from 9 to 10 and 7.2 million after 10. CNN had 2.5, 2.8 and 2.6, respectively, and MSNBC 2.9, 3.3 and 3.4. MSNBC is the only network that increased viewership at 10:00.

More 18-49 viewers watched election coverage than Fox ("The Resident" and "Monarch"). And The CW just had reruns and it shows.

You can tell there were reruns on Monday. Except NBC. Oh, wait, ABC, too, but those numbers weren't great. The CW had its reliable animal videos.

I forgot about "The Real Love Boat" but that sank. Like on Saturday, the web site didn't say which CBS drama was on, but it was a rerun. And following USA Today's tradition, I decided to call it "Crimetime".
