I'm back. But I am concerned because the site that I have been using to get ratings is shutting down. They say it's because they cannot get the reliable information. I checked another site and there does not seem to be any sign that site will have problems. But I do know that other site hasn't always been dependable, which is why I was relieved when the site I have been using came back after a mysterious absence. This time the absence is not mysterious and it appears to be permanent.

Anyway, I know there are people still looking for these numbers and I will continue to try to find them. What I will miss is all the pretty colors and very specific information about who is watching. I have occasionally reported on what shows were popular with men or women or young people or seniors. These numbers are more meaningful because it looks like "The Bachelor" or "WWE Smackdown" are doing poorly until you see huge numbers with specific audiences.

No, "Riverdale" is not a rerun. It was last week. This week, the first digit in the number of viewers is a 1. "Nancy Drew" isn't doing much better.

"Masterchef" is green with most audiences. Seniors, however, love Steve Harvey. I'll miss this information but the other site does show 18-49. It's just harder without the colors to determine the significance. The other site is white on black with green for premieres. Boring.

Very surprising numbers for an "NCIS: Hawaii" rerun. But it was an entire night of "NCIS" and its spinoffs. Maybe the first one would have gotten bigger numbers had it been at its normal time. An entire night of "NCIS" would seem like a good idea. Just move the Monday comedies after the big Thursday shows and move the mystery to 10.

When it's The CW, these are big numbers for Superman. Not so much for "Stars on Mars". But "Gotham Knights" was not a rerun. That needs to be mentioned.

"Barons" got better numbers this week. Too late, though. A show can't do so poorly on The CW that it gets cancelled, right? Wrong. And I already checked and this week a "Nancy Drew" rerun replaced it.

On the subject of cancellation, "Magnum, PI" got the ax once the current season is finished. They decided to do it in two parts, so I think that means there are still new episodes to show.

And that's it for this week. Next week it's hard to say what will happen. So far, I have final numbers for Sunday and Monday but I won't post them now because that's just confusing and I don't have time. But even if the numbers are made available, it won't likely happen in time for me to post on Tuesday. But Tuesday will be the only day I have time. I'll post what I can then, and it looks like I will have to use the new site. This might possibly mean some preliminary numbers, given that site's history, but hopefully not.

And then there is the question of whether the new site will even continue to post the numbers, but I haven't seen anything to say they won't.

One of the most popular shows on CBS got listed as an ABC show last week. I don't know how that happened. I have to go fix that.
