Stranded in the woods but not the heart

This is a fanfiction I started but I haven't finished, if a lot of you guys comment on it I may start it up again, please read and see what you think:


It was a beautiful early mid-May sunny day in Rhode Island and Alysia Jenkins and her friends could hardly wait for their camping trip to begin. It had been a rough semester for all of them in college and they decided to take a hiking-camping trip as a reward for all their hard work. Now Alysia Jenkins hadn’t lived in Rhode Island very long and was new to the area but had decided to attend Rhode Island State University since they had the classes that were ideal for a musician in the making. Alysia was a very shy girl who just turned 21 and had no parents since her grandparents had raised her after her mom died and she had no clue about who her dad was and had lived in New Mexico most of her life until her grandparents’ deaths. Alysia was a spunky person who enjoyed: music, watching movies, writing songs, poems and stories, reading the Bible, solving mysteries when she could, playing her guitar, and she liked Smallville since her favorite actor Tom Welling was on it! Alysia had hazel blue eyes, had two earrings in both ears, light brown hair that looked blond, and she was 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighed about 130 pounds.

Meanwhile in California, Tom Welling the 28-year-old former model had recently divorced Jamie White after she admitted that she was no longer in love with him because she had been cheating on him with her agent. As the days went by, Tom’s friends and co-workers began to notice that Tom just seemed to lag behind so they decided to take him on a mini-vacation until the summer was over. They were planning on taking to a nice quiet resort in Vermont and planning all sorts of fun stuff to do like water skiing, swimming in the lake, nature hikes and some camping in the woods too! Michael Rosenbaum and Ashton Kutcher two of Tom’s best friends decided that they would come along for the trip since his good friend John Schneider would be unavailable for the trip since he would be attending a Dukes of Hazzards convention and since Ashton’s wife Demi would be going on a trip with her children from her previous marriage to Bruce Willis, Ashton decided to come along. Also Jensen Ackles would be coming along for the trip as well since he wasn’t doing over the summer and plus he was good friends with Tom too and hated to see his good friend suffer!

Meanwhile back in Rhode Island, Alysia’s good friends Julia, Zoey and Kelly and their cousin Shannon were busy packing up for their big trip. Instead of taking the bus or flying a plane or even taking a train, they had decided to rent a minivan so that they could have a road trip adventure on the way to where they would be camping and hiking!
Alysia sighed as she went through her dorm closet and pulled what seemed to be her whole wardrobe and dumped it on her bed: How long exactly are we planning on staying camping and hiking?
Julia reminded her gently: the whole summer until the end of August, did you forget?
Alysia shook her head “no I just wanted to make sure I am packing enough clothes to last me a good while, that’s all”
Zoey laughed “Alysia, we’re only going be gone for the summer, not the rest of our lives”
Alysia “I know but it never hurts to be prepared for anything”
Then all the girls began to laugh because they knew how silly Alysia was being but they knew that is just how she was since they had seen her take a medium-sized rolling bag for class and that was just for two of her regular classes and plus she had a book bag for her music classes. Also if you were to open up the book bag or the rolling bag you would find a little bit of everything in it whether it was a hair brush or a whole box of ink pens or even a pack of gum but Alysia always insisted that it never hurt her to be prepared for anything! Julia, Zoey, Kelly and Shannon smiled as they watched Alysia pack everything from skirts with cute tops to match, most of her underwear, as well as jeans, shorts, four bathing suits, two pairs of pajamas, a pair of slippers, a pair of hiking boots, at least eight pairs of socks for each color which consisted of: pink, blue, white, purple and black, a pair of dressy casual shoes, three dresses, a bathrobe, two tubes of toothpaste, four toothbrushes, two hairbrushes, two combs, at least 10 scrunchies, several hair clips, four lip gloss in different flavors, face cream, two washcloths, three towels, one pair of sunglasses, two eye shadows, one blush, two bottles of lotion, one bottle of sun block, one big bottle of shampoo-conditioner, some necklaces and earrings, and one beach towel! They wondered if she would manage to fit it all in her largest suitcase and she was plus she had a book bag that she planned to take with her too which would have some things that she didn’t put in her suitcase. When Alysia had finally finished packing all of her stuff, she and her friends decided to go pick up the minivan that they would be renting for the trip and decided that they would leave around 9 the next morning. Alysia also planned to leave her guitar behind hoping she would get some ideas for writing some new songs while on this trip even though her friends insisted that she bring it just in case things got boring!

Meanwhile Tom’s friends and he were waiting at the airport for the plane to arrive and Michael suggested that they go exploring around the airport for a couple of hours since the plane wouldn’t be leaving right away. Jensen and Michael started going through the various stores and just buying random things for no reason at all just because they had the money and the time to do so. Tom watched with pure amazement and Ashton sat with him and began to tell him some of his craziest jokes that he could think of.
Ashton “hey Tom, what do you get when a cat swallows too many lemons?”
Tom shook his head “I don’t know, what?”
Ashton grinned “a sourpuss”
Tom groaned, “oh I see”
Ashton rolled his eyes and tried another one “what did the rooster tell the chicken one night?”
Tom “I have no idea man”
Ashton: Would you mind laying off for once?
Jensen and Michael began to laugh hysterically because that was one of the better jokes that Ashton told. Michael then tried to do some silly voices everything from Steve Martin to some of their co-workers from Smallville but all it brought was groans and sighs from Tom who was growing more and more bored by the minute! Jensen tried to tell Tom some funny stories of adventures that had happened on the Supernatural set but even that seemed to make Tom bored so they all finally gave up and handed Tom a cd of his favorite group Radiohead knowing that at least would keep Tom entertained for awhile.

Meanwhile back in Rhode Island, the other girls began to pack for the trip and Alysia began loading up the minivan since she was already finished with her packing. Zoey then went outside to go talk to Alysia while she loaded up the car. Now Zoey was originally from New York, had been raised in orphanages as well as foster care until she was adopted when she was nine years old and was now 20 years old, she had brown hair, grayish blue eyes, was 5 foot 7 inches tall and was attending Rhode Island State University to become a writer. Zoey hadn’t been friends with Alysia very long but she and Alysia both enjoyed comparing stories that they had written and sometimes Zoey liked to write fictional stories about meeting her crush Jensen Ackles and some adventures based on the series Supernatural since she had plans to become a best seller writer some day of either writing books or scripts for T.V. series and movies. “So Alysia, have you written anything new these past few weeks?” asked Zoey. “Nope, I haven’t Zoey since I was really busy with my finals, have you?” answered Alysia.
Zoey smiled and nodded “Yeah, I have it’s one where a group of detectives solve mysteries that take place at a warehouse that is overseas during World War 2.”
Alysia smiled “that sounds really good far Zoey” “thanks, I am have got a writer’s block right now because I am trying to decide who will be behind the murder that takes place at warehouse and it looks like certain workers at the warehouse did it, but I am trying to decide if it needs someone else to commit the crime or use the characters that are already in it” answered Zoey. Alysia smiled and just then Julia, Kelly and Shannon arrived since they had just finished their packing and decided they needed a break and suggested that they all go out for ice cream as a treat and Alysia and Zoey agreed since they deserved something nice to reward themselves after all the packing they had been doing. When they arrived at the ice cream parlor, a lot of the guys from the campus were inside eating some ice cream sundaes and tried to flirt with the girls but they just ignored the boys and placed the order for two ice cream cones, two milkshakes and one yogurt cup. As they sat down enjoying their treats, they talked about what they planned to do while on the trip.

Back in at the airport, the guys had about 2 hours to go before their flight and Tom had dozed off while listening to the CD player and Michael decided to stay with Tom in case he woke up while Jensen and Ashton went to go get something to eat for all of them. They decided to get some sandwiches at Subway since they had good sandwiches to eat there and for a good price too! About 15 minutes later while Ashton and Jensen were waiting on their order, Tom woke up a bit startled to find himself with a CD player on and Michael beside of him. “Huh? Where am I?” said Tom as he sat up and began to stretch. “You are in California man, we’re waiting for our plane to arrive and Ashton and Jensen went to go get us something to eat,” answered Michael. “Oh, well do you know where they went to go get something to eat at?” asked Tom “Nope not a clue but whatever they get for us to eat better be good to eat” answered Michael. Just then Ashton and Jensen showed up with some bags of food, they had four sandwiches, four bags of chips and four sodas. Ashton teased and said, “we got rat poison, dog food, cat food, and human food, which one do you most prefer guys?” Tom grinned since he was feeling much better “I think I will try the rat poison since I haven’t had that before” when Tom said that it made all of them laugh because this was the first time they had seen Tom actually being silly in a long time. “So what are we going to do on this trip, lounge in the sun all day, go hiking, just chill out in our rooms and watch T.V. and play video games all day or try check out some of the girls there?” asked Jensen “I think we should try to do all those things Jensen since they sound cool and maybe we can try to go biking or even swimming too” suggested Michael. Ashton and Tom agreed since those sounded like some ways to have some fun and not get into trouble with the law either! After they had finished their lunch, they decided to find a shop to go in to buy some last minute things that they could do on the plane before the plane arrived. About an hour later, the plane landed in the airport and they had to wait until the previous passengers got off and they had to go through one last security check before going on board. When that was finished, they got on board and found their seats and waited for the plane to take off so they could begin their new adventures in Vermont not knowing what awaited them!
