I don't really care as long as the boys are together on this one, even if Sam goes and kills the girl, which I'm not going to call Deans daughter because really,....thats just weird. Sam again would not do anything to hurt Dean and Dean knows it.

IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE, FROM A COUPLE OF THOSE STILLS, THAT DEAN IS HOLD UP IN A CABIN WITH HIS DAUGHTER AND SAM COMES LOOKING FOR THEM. I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF DEAN FEELS A SMIDGE PATERNAL FOR 'EMMA'. EITHER WAY, THIS IS NOT GOING TO END WELL FOR EITHER BROTHER. IM ACTUALLY HOPING THAT,IF THEY DO HAVE TO GANK EMMA, THAT IT'S MORE LIKE 'HEART' AND LESS LIKE 'THE GIRL NEXT DOOR'. EITHER WAY WOULD BE PAINFUL FOR THE BOYS, BUT THE 'HEART' OPTION WOULD BE ALOT MORE TOLERABLE.

I hope they're not pointing guns at each other. SHOOT THE GIRL!!!!! Any girl who grew that big in one episode can't be good.

The only explanation for that would be if they were under some spell like that time in the episode "Sex and Violence" they were both accepting in hurting each other physically, but if they weren't under the power of the guy than they wouldn't have done that. I don't know what would posses them to point the gun at each other unless they were under some type of control or spell.

I just spotted that Deans daughter is played by the same actress that played Missy Bender way back in s1. She is all grown up now but it's definitely her.
I'm not sure about this ep. Apparently this is the one Jared was talking about the other day with the role reversal - see below from TVonline
I just hope we are done with angst between the brothers. Been there. Done with that! I want to see them pulling together and supporting each other, not pulling apart.
But I refuse to prejudge. I'll wait and see.

Sam is facing the girl and Dean and pointing a gun...and it looks like Dean and the girl are facing Sam, with the girl holding a knife and Dean pointing a gun. Looks exciting, however.

Interesting. Gosh from these pics it looks like this episode is going to be heartbreaking for Dean. So this is the episode where Sam is in Dean's place and might have to kill this girl? Oh my. Well I don't think it's exactly like the Amy situation since this girl is actually Dean's daughter (weirdly shocking for Dean I'm sure!). And that will make it even more personal and heartbreaking for Dean, especially because he's lost so many family members already. I just hope whatever happens it doesn't tear the boys apart.

Ugh! It's so hard looking at this photo. Dean probably doesn't know this child is his. You know I always thought, that for Dean to truly be happy, he at would point would have a baby of his own to protect and love just as much as he did with Sammy. I guess that is out the windows, I don't see why he would ever suggest in having a baby of his own after he will probably have to kill this daughter of his.

I see a suitcase in one of the pictures.
That bothers me a little bit with the idea that Dean takes this girl and runs away with her to get away from Sam. I hope he's not really running away from Sam, but just wants to get her away from her "pack" so Sam can take care of them.

I don't think Dean would take her and run away, it's more like she finds them.

I just cannot imagine the heartbreak if Dean has to kill his own daughter. Even if he only knows her for a couple of days, knowing how much Dean values family, he'll still feel connected to her. If he does end up killing her, it would just provide further proof (in his eyes) that he's right about himself as he said in YCHTT: "I ain't a father. I'm a killer. And there's no changing that. I know that now." I can't help but feel this episode is meant to push Dean further down into his abyss of depression and hopelessness. It's playing right into the fears he has about himself and his low self-worth issues. I just hope the show takes some time to actually work on Dean's issues and allow him to build himself back up again. Oh but that baby is totally adorable!

Am I the only one that is worried about this episode being really awkward and/or cringeworthy?
For the record, I had these same awkward/cringeworthy feelings about Time For A Wedding and--for me at least--I was right to have them.
I get the role reversal TPTB are going for with Sam and Dean here, but did they HAVE to make it about Dean's possible daughter?
I'd guess they'd have to do something like that though, because there aren't any other women on the show that Dean would care about enough that would create the role reversal.
And I'm not even 100% sure it is Dean's kid. I have this theory that everybody thinks it is, but--assuming the kid gets ganked--either right before or shortly after she gets killed, they find out that it was never Dean's kid. I know spoilers have maybe said or implied it was Dean's kid, but that could just be to throw us off.

I'm with you, I want some new episodes. It's just I'm not crazy about this episode and wish we could just skip this one and go straight to watching Sam slowly descend into nutty-ville.

I do agree with you there because at least we know that the acting by J2 will at least be great as always. That is something we can count on. Oh and I rather liked Sam's hair in the last episode. It was much more shiny than usual.

I fear the worst outcry firstly and I fear another cringeworthy episode. The "wedding"-episode was for me ...cringeworthy, very cringeworthy! And I am asking myself what did Sam feel then this happened to him? Seemed as if he was not involved in the least, he didn't react like someone just violated him...again (personal space and so on) And Becky...ugh! A creature that grows in one week from a baby to a teenager...there is something wrong with that! But in the end we will know right after watching the episode what happened.

Your post here is exactly my frustration with how we never see how Sam feels and his feelings afterwards. It's always brushed aside as though he didn't just get violated by this creepy girl. It's annoying to be frank. I am ready for a new episode though, to addicting to Supernatural, even though I am a complainer

I think it will be Dean's return to badass hunter and I think it will be Dean who ganks the monster child. I think there will be tears and angst, but not separation. As Sam did in HEART, Dean will do the right thing here. That is what keeps me coming back each week. In the end both guys always do the right thing.

I hope this is it Sera. I'm really looking forward to this episode purely for the fact that the boys have to deal with 'personal' stuff and that always brings out the best in both of them.
