Merr, a quick note about a show I don't want to admit to watching...
TVD - the first time Tyler turned was one of the most heartbreaking moments I can recall in a while. Twilight, nor Being Human don't even touch that, meaning they have never taken it to that level.

There was a lot of buzz about it when it first aired...just about how excruciating it was to film for the actor etc.

He read the journal. When he had to turn he knew it was going to be horrifying and didn't want it. Caroline was very standup in that situation. The actor, don't know their names yet, did an excellent job.

It was mentioned that he made sure to not eat his normal chocolate chip cookies for a few days so that he'd look good naked.

I saw this thread at the CW and have been lurking on it sometimes. I thought it was finally time to meet the trio that's always on this thread title. My username was the same on the CW, MissNiChloe, maybe you recognize the name? Probably not. How is everyone? Welcome to our little family. The rules on this thread are very simple respect the posters and have fun. We talk about a lot of different subjects, when in doubt on what to post talk about food. Like the SFSF thread, good to know. Lol. And about food huh... well, I just had a late brunch of french toast, scrambled eggs, and a glass of milk. Oh and I personally don'y like talking about nudity or any 'naughty' stuff, so if I'm on and I come on here and you're talking about some 'naughty stuff, expect a random comment about food... Cheers! Lol.

The guy behind me is wearing a mask today. No one has asked him why. I will probably ask at some point, but he doesn't seem ill.

We talk about a lot of different subjects, when in doubt on what to post talk about food. Ain't that the truth. Don't we all love Maze and his amazing lunches? I'm making Navy bean soup with a big ham bone left over from the ham we had for New Years. I soaked the beans over night and put them in the slow cooker with a few carrots, celery, onions, ham bone, bay leaf, pepper and enough water to cover and walk away so easy even Gabby could do it. I don't add salt as the ham has enough salt to flavor the beans. A hearty bowl of beans with lots of bits of meat served with a side salad and a good sour dough bread for me tonight and my brothers and son will have ribs with the beans. I just may be the only person on earth that doesn't like ribs.

Navy bean soup? No thanks. I'd much prefer a cheeseburger.

I've always wanted to try making something with our hambone, but haven't really known what to do. I did use the drumsticks, thighs and wings from out Thanksgiving turkey to make a turkey noodle soup.

I don't know what else to do with the ham bone besides bean soup. I made turkey pot pie with the left over turkey and turkey noodle soup with the bones. I normally make turkey dumping soup but this year I just through in egg noodles instead of making dumpings. I like to cook a turkey in the middle of summer because it is too hot to do a lot of cooking and I can use the meat in so many dishes without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.

I do make country gravy when we have pork chops with the pan dripping from the pork, not too often as it is way to fatting and not good for ones health.
