Hello??? (Crickets).
How is everyone? I miss you guys.
Got a new fridge. Ours has been thinking of going for awhile, freezer side was still a champion. The fridge side was just not cold enough. We had it 21 years.
I did nothing. Marc went out and bought it and had it delivered. I never saw it until he had installed it.
Hawaii??? Again??

I had a really good refrigerator but it was giving me some trouble after 20-plus years. Then I bought one from Sears that has been nothing but a nightmare. I can't believe I thought my father was wrong for buying from a more expensive place. |

The whole point of building a house there is so that we can go as often as we'd like. We'll see how much Kevin enjoys going when there is no more construction to be done and he has to actually JUST vacation. haha I was so excited a few years ago to get a new fridge because our ice maker was broken and we tried fixing it at least 3 times and it kept breaking. New fridge's ice maker lasted 2 years and now it just freezes into one big ice ball that we can't defrost.  Back to old fashion ice trays for us. |

We'll be going up to the cabin on either Wednesday night or Thursday morning. We have Thanksgiving planned with just one other family on Thanksgiving and then everyone will be up on Saturday to have our Friendsgiving where this year we're trying out smoking a pig instead of a turkey.

I finally got around to watching the Scooby-Doo reunion special. It was more of a promotion of WB tours than anything else. Several scenes took place in Stars Hollow and this was mentioned. The animated characters were added to live-action scenes.

Now The Golden Girls are all gone. I felt like it had to be coming. Everyone loved to talk about Betty White, but it had been quite a while since we'd seen her out in public for anything. Very sad, but it's hard to complain when she lived to almost 100! |

This week Joe and his son on "Ordinary Joe" sang "Where You Lead" with a choir. There were three different versions, as there always are on that show. In one, he just found out he had a son and didn't know the son could sing.

Richard was a psychiatrist in a movie I watched over the weekend. It was about a mentally ill loser with a drug problem who inherited $2.5 million. His sister contested the will and the man had to be evaluated to determine if he was competent. The shrink said he was, and he got the money. And he didn't squander it. It was a comedy.

Morgansiren on The WB was missing for three months. I found out what had happened when I got a Facebook friend request. She really shouldn't have taken so long to do that. She had been posting occasionally during the time she was missing. Before that, she had been telling us someone had taken control of her ability to communicate and certain details weren't showing up or certain features didn't work. She explained she had a new account on a new phone, but during all that time i had no way to find out what was going on since her email address gives me a Mailer-Daemon message.

Merr, thank you for sharing this very sad news. These past few years Tanmi was also a great friend to me off the boards. Through slacks, chats and emails we stayed connected and continued to follow each other since the end of Gilmore Girls. She fought her battle with courage and strength and never once lost her sense of humor! It was an honor and a blessing to know her! |

Merr, have you ever seen the movie "Love, Kennedy"? I don't think it is stated the people in that are Mormon, though it is set in Utah, and there are missionaries shown and it's a positive image. It's a true story.
