overshadowed by Jared's sideburns?!?!?!?!

I got caught up on the last two episodes and I swear all I could see where the dang side-burns! I'm waiting for the tips to just meet under his nose!

I've pointed this out in a couple of other threads. I don't mind his longish hair, matter of fact I like longer hair (I wish Jensen would let his grow a little longer).

But those sideburns! Yikes!! I'm starting to only see sideburns when Jared is in the scene. Besides, as a hunter on the run, in a major league mind battle with Satan...when does he find the time to finely hone those massive, hairy structures?

Please, Jared, find a barber and get those things miniturized before they take over your whole face. I'm not saying they have to be as small as Jensen's but go back to the way they looked in season 2/3.

Lol YES. But I have gotten used to them. I am just waiting for that one episode where the plot is about shaving Jared's sideburns and hair. That would be quit a shock.

Show is also overshadowed by Dean's intense staring. Once he does that I forget about everything else. They are a murdering stare

Although Sam would never get the face piercings. Guys who get in fights as much as Sam does know - face piercings are just more pain waiting to happen when someone punches you in the face.

I know Jared said at a Meet and Greet that the sideburns are not his idea but the makeup and hair person on set

Well, along that same thought......why in God's name don't they let Jensen grow his hair a little longer? I'm not saying he and Jared should have a contest over who can grow the longest hair, but why, o, why does Jensen always have to have what amounts to (what used to be called) a "crewcut?"

I mean, he's gorgeous no matter what....but can you imagine the hotness magnified by being able to run our fingers through his hair and not scrape our fingernails on his scalp?

This is what I keep saying. And I really don't understand why Sam's hair can't be like Jared's. Either someone isn't doing their job right or...what? I can't see that it adds realism. I mean, these are guys that supposedly get 3-4 hours of sleep a night but remain puffy eye and dark circle free; drink till they pass out and then wake up fresh looking.

And the sideburns definitely do not add realism if hunters are pressed for time is what they're going for. That looks like it takes more time.

BTW Jensen's hair in Time after Time drove me crazy. They did that half cut around the ears thingy that drive my haircutting self mad. I can clear see it's not even or blended but I can't jump through the TV and fix it. Re watch the esipode and watch around his ears you will clearly see the cut.
