Should there by an SPN spinoff?

This happens alot when a show is successful sometimes there is a spinoff. Like Happy Days had the spinoffs of Mork and Mindy and Laverne and Shirley. Or Diff'rent Strokes spinoff The Facts of Life. Cheers spinoff Frasier

So what do you think would you like to see a spinoff of Supernatural? If so what would it look like?

I would watch a spin off that is about the demons versus the angels. Supernatural's concept is intriguing because the demons are at certain times an ally instead of the typical demons who are monsters with no feelings. Must have Crowley and Meg.

The angels would be the warrior type angels like Michael, Lucifer and Castiel. Include the Fates.

Throw in some interesting humans and some humor and I would watch it every week.

Going by the general SPN commenting atmosphere on YT, the spin off could easily be "Everybody Hates Cas" and Chris Rock can humorously narrate Castiel's never ending train wrecks in spite of his attempts to do the right thing. Daddy God and Mother Eve are too busy keeping the natural order to rein in the shenanigans of their brood getting themselves into all sort of ending-the-world scenarios.

It's so funny because Crowley was exactly who I was thinking of. But they have to bring Gabe back from the dead. Because Crowley VS Gabe would be funny and entertaining. I agree we would need Kripke involved.

I love you sig! Smallville used to be my show, and I used to it hate when SPN was on because I hated it and loved Smallville. Than after I got in to SPN I hated Smaville, but the Clark and Lex friendship and relationship was amazing :heart: Miss that.

Not me. I invested in this show for the brothers, once it ends I will find another show with new characters and stories. There comes a chance when you have to say goodbye to the show and characters you loved. A lot of shows have spinoffs, so think SPN will probably have one, but spin offs are never successful.

That being said, I hope you realize I was being a little whimsical. Not expecting such a spin off to happen, just day-dreaming.

no I understand you weren't really serious with the Bobby spin-off. I was just saying, that spin-off in general are never really successful. Can't speak about Fraiser, sense I never was in to it. Off course I was to young to watch it when it first aired, but I did manage to catch several episodes of it, and it just didn't hold my interest. I think with SPN a spin-off would work. Though I don't care for Misha, he does have a following, and many fans who do watch SPN are immediately attracted to Castiel. So if a spin-off were to happen it will probably have a following if the Spin-off was about Castiel. Any other characters, apart from Sam and Dean, wouldn't keep a spin-off on air for more than a season, but I can see a spin-off with Castiel and returning Angel characters.

Only way I'd find it even remotely interesting is if they went backward and showed the family hunting during the boys' teen years.

All the spin offs in my original posts were successful. Mork and Mindy was the first time we met Robin Williams and started his very successful career. Laverne and Shirley hugely successful makes me crave a milk and Pepsi. Facts of Life well shoot that's the first TV show George Clooney was ever on. Being an old fart has it's upside I remember all these show. I went to a TV taping of Facts of Life when George Clooney was on the show. How that for old.

But you are right most spin offs don't do well. For Example. Three is Company spinoff The Ropers and Friends spinoff Joey. For the record; I have no say if any show spins offs from Supernatural. I was just looking for an interesting topic to discuss. I really like the idea of the Bobby and Rufus Dead hunters club. BTW if you didn't know Bobby flat-lined in Season 7. Tough! you should keep up with the show. I mean that in the nicest sweet way.

Now that is a very interesting idea. I always wondered how John keep them in school while traveling. Plus you have Sammy rebellion to be normal. That could be a very good spin off. You need Kripke and the right actors for Sam, Dean and John. But that could be really good.

How could you have forgotten this! All In The Family: The Jeffersons!! And Maude too, but The Jeffersons...immortal tv classic!

And oh...let's see...how about NCIS? The powerhouse #1 TV drama, in it's 9th Season, still on top and going strong...spin-off of JAG.

For me no spin off, the only thing that it makes interesting is Sam and Dean, not interested in a Bobby/Rufus spinoff not to mention an angel spinoff.

The only thing I would consider is Sam and Deans early years! Their childhood and their teenage years! The time where Sam was cut of his family, because he wanted to go to college while Dean admired the hunting life! I would be interested in this even without Jared and Jensen, because they would live on in the jounger versions I could feel their presence still!

Only two spin-offs for Supernatural would work imo...the John Winchester/Mary/Campbell Clan spin off or JW and the two boys straight after the fire.

Yes Clex was amazing. Smallville did decline in it's later years. :/ especially with Lex's departure.
