Who Came First: Horsemen or Leviathins

Just wondering....both seem extraordinarily powerful. Death said "he" would one day reap God. And the Leviathins are said to have been one of God's first creations.

So, who came first, or perhaps more importantly, who is more powerful?

I don't have an intelligent reply to this so I am just going to go with the the horseman, only because the Leviathins suck

I would also go with the Horsemen. Even though Supernatural made the Horsemen appear more like demons than angels, I believe they were created at the same time as the angels. The leviathans seemed more like something made later to entertain god, the same as humans.

Right now the Horsemen (with their rings) would seem more powerful. I don't think we've seen a way to kill them, only to stop them by taking their rings.

We were told, initially, that the Leviathins couldn't be killed, but we saw in subsequent episodes that Borax kills them.

I think the horsemen weren't all created at the same time. Death was for sure the first horseman created. He was before the Leviathan. Because God created the Leviathan and Death couldn't remember who came first him or God. However, I think War, Famine and Pestilence came on the scene off the Leviathan. I don't know why but they seem younger to me.

The leviathan are more powerful then War, Pestilence and Famine. But Death will taken them all out in the end. In fact I believe when everything else is gone Death will be the last one standing.

That's a really tough question... I'm only judging having Death in mind, so if we assume that Death appeared when God did, I'll go with the Horsemen...
I also believe that the Horsemen are more powerful, because they can't be killed. I think that there is a way to kill the Leviathans, the boys just haven't figure it out yet.

Actually it doesn't kill them. It just puts them out of commission for awhile. Even Dean said to take that Leviathan's severed head and bury it and don't talk to it if it starts talking back. So truthfully there is no known thing that can kill a Leviathan.

Oh, you're so right. As I read your post, I was remembering the episode where Bobby drenched that guy with Borax, sliced of his head and "boxed" it up for the boys to bury. I had completely forgotten that.....getting old...short term memory loss!

So, it seems neither the Horsemen nor the Leviathins can be killed. At least this far into the season, that is.
