kind of looks too lame to might be boring with no superheros. Green Arrow is just TOO lame to be a real superhero!! they should've had THE QUESTION on SMALLVILLE!!! best line: I go through EVERYONE'S trash!!sure he's a paranoid loner.... but can you be paranoid ENOUGH??? |

just saw the first ep..... a bit derivative of the Nolanverse Batman, but good stuff so far!!! ![]() Could be a LOT worse than to be compared to Nolan's Batman, for sure. One thing that concerns me is that they have decided to do away with an essential part of Oliver Qeen's character--that he is one of the best-known politcially liberal charecters in the pantheon of DC superheroes. It bothers me greatly that they would not have enough respect for the character as to portray him accurately. Sure, I understand being afraid of pissing off a little less than half of your potential viewers, but since when has taking the safe way out ever resulted in a better and more resonant character? Why not make Tony Stark a liberal and Captain America a conservative if these characters don't really matter to you? |
