One way to access the Green Goo archived

Not sure if anyone wants to but I found a way to get the old archived pages of the CW Lounge in case anyone there wants to save stuff.

The Wayback Machine has the forum archived somewhat at least.

On top, type in the address that used to be the boards: lounge.cwtv.com

And click on the Take Me Back button and you should get a page with calendars, the dates when they took snapshots of the site are marked.

Again just in case someone wants to have some nostalgia.

Well, the CW, as bad as it was, was my first internet home where I first met everyone here, so my memories actually start with the CW. So thank you, cinca.

I don't think it lets you on specific threads and thread pages, anyways. It just lets you view the main forum and maybe the sub-forums (like Smallville, Supernatural, etc), but not the threads.

I wonder if you can still use google search. They let you view a snapshot of the page, but that was when the forum was still around.

Nope, you can't. It comes up in the results, but you can't view a cached page.

Yeah, it looks like they didn't archive the threads. BTW You can access the WB forums if you type in the link for them.

ETA: I can access some of the threads, so it's trial and error I guess with them.

ETA 2: Try Yahoo search. They have cashed pages also
