Just FYI I don't report. I'm a big girl friday maybe you might try it. I don't bait. Again I'm a big girl and don't play games like 'baiting'. Its nice to know your train of thought thoug, hmmm interesting you go straight for trolling and reporting and baiting. It figures. No, of course you don't bait or troll. I mean because clearly making a thread that's the exact opposite of what Aeryn did and then trying to provoke her. Let's just say it point blank here, ben. I'm gonna lay it on the line and attempt to express what a lot of people here have been trying to say. I am not trying to get into a fight. I'm trying to explain where the instigator of these fights begin... People are sick of you constantly going into every single thread you possibly can and hating on Cas. It's beating a damn dead horse. We get it. You hate Castiel. You hate Misha, yet you still go into any thread that might be about him, with the exception of the Castiel fanclub, and bash him and attack him and the Cas fans and even attack Misha himself. I'm no huge Cas fan. I have my disgust with the character, but for Heaven's sake, is it absolutely necessary to go into any thread that might be about him and attack him? How would you feel if people did this on a repetitive basis to Dean or Jensen/Sam or Jared here? It wouldn't feel very good, would it? All people are asking is for you to keep your Castiel hate in one thread instead of carrying on and provoking Cas fans. Please. That's all people ask. Just because they feel Cas carries a certain significance and you don't, doesn't mean you have the right to bash them for their own feelings and opinions. And yes, this is me sticking up for Cas fans even though I don't care for Cas myself because I have friends who are Cas fans. I care about them, and I don't think they deserved to be referred to as a JS or insulted for liking the character that they like most. So, can we just agree to disagree and move on? Keep the hate in the appropriate thread and let the Cas/Misha fans enjoy the news they hear and let them celebrate it or discuss it in peace? |

Right thats what I'm doing. Again your opinion is not fact and you don't speak for anyone (meaning me) you have no idea of my motivations and trust me, baiting you and your buddies, not on my priority list. Its called a discussion. And thanks for again proving why this character is a cockroach on this show. It brings supporters in like, well... Go vote for Dean/Cas in the lovers poll..thats more your style. Ben, the problem is, much of what has gone on today has not been a discussion...it has been snipping, and fighting, and barbs between Members pure and simple. If ya'll can't disagree without smashing at each other, then more and more posts, if not whole threads will have to be Modded. Please, everyone, dial it back. |

So lets get it straight, its not illogical and the thread I made was not anything to do with Castiel or Misha Collins its to do with Aeryn making threads with every thought that pops in her head. Keep it to the CFC....no one cares about her illogical reasons for hating Castiel...what did she think was going to happen if she opened it up to people that can't stand this character.
If she kept into the CFC then she can discuss it with people that agree with her! GET IT!

Who takes them on boat cruises at conventions for a few hours just to spend time with them. Who put together that massive online scavenger hunt. Why attack the actor when he's not ever done a thing to you? Maybe you dislike his acting, critique it if you must, but you do it all the time, ben and there in lies the problem. People get upset and offended because it's consistent with you. For example, I feel like you're putting words into my mouth from this direct post from you by basically saying that I love Cas when I don't. I really don't. What I love are my friends who are Castiel fans, and I'm happy for them that they get to see their favorite character again, despite my own feelings on Cas. Hell, my husband's favorite character is Castiel, and I don't bash him for it or call him a Jefferson Starship. All I'm saying, ben is if a thread pops up on Castiel's return or story in whatever episodes, don't bash the fans for being happy. I mean if you insist on expressing your disdain for it, go ahead, but the hate on a consistent basis is just really what's hurting people here. We all know you hate him. We really do. Let the Cas fans enjoy what they want to enjoy. Stop accusing them of being haters of Sam or Dean just because they love Cas. |

Bensen, I am one to say I don't like Castiel, but I think it's time to accept that the show has had a turning point where Cas is considered just as important as Sam and Dean. The constant hate on him is unnecessary. Every show is like this. It starts out with two to three seasons of a couple of main characters, and than it evolves where more characters trigger an appeal to the audience that the writers tend to want to keep and make him or her an integral part of the show. I loved the show when it was Sam and Dean, it's a new show now where they are shifting it to a whole new audience and new viewers where Cas is considered a main character. It's time to accept that, I mean I will always love the show because of how it started, but shows that continue to progress in season tend to loss it's appeal to me, so the show might not be a show I will continue to watch in the future because of the shift in direction, but it will be a show that I will always love. It's hard to accept the idea that a show that you think is all about Sam and Dean, because that is how it began, but I have accepted that the writers and network are fine with making Cas just as important as Sam and Dean.

Ok, that seems reasonable...no more fighting here. Anyone who posts anything bitchy toward or bashing of another member, will be asked to leave the thread. I only wanted to lock it down so that I could go eat some damn dinner without ya'll calling one another troglodytes or chondrichthyes. But, it seems I won't have to.
