Thanks for posting! Great interview! I'm still really nervous for tonight!! I really really hope that Sam doesn't have to do anything that is going to make parts of this fandom even nastier. I really really hope they don't go there. But so far, everything seems to be pointing in that direction. Hopefully, Sam behaving differently means they find some common ground. I'm still really dreading it. (But it doesn't help that I just got back from seeing "The Woman in Black." Great movie, great play, and good book, but I think I'm going to bring my jar of rock salt closer to bed tonight. )

This was such a wonderful interview. I wish people would write the boys thoughts down like this girl. You'd almost think that the show was about Sam and Dean.
I loved hearing Jareds thoughts and feelings of whats been done and whats coming up.
There is also a vid now and the two of them are so cute. Pity she didn't get them together, maybe next time.

I just saw the video with Jared and Jensen. They look really good. Here's the link for those who want to see. blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/02/supernatural-stars-jensen-ackles-and-jared-padalecki-talk-time-travel-and-monster-babies.htmlBut now, I'm not sure what to think about this upcoming episode. It really really sounds ominous especially since Jensen said that "it's a bit conflicting. Sam has to come in and save the day, which is what Dean had to do at the beginning of the Season... it's one of those brother moments that we all cherish." Jensen said that Dean killing Amy was a mercy killing and that looked like anything but on screen. It really looked like Dean killed Amy in cold blood and the next episode with Dean wanting to give up on the job because the monster of week was killing thugs didn't help matters. I'm really worried because this doesn't sound promising. I really hope something else happens, but they seem to be giving a lot of details pointing in one direction.

Dean did kill her in cold blood, but she was a monster, a human killing monster. She had her reasons but what kind of people would they be to just let that go. IMO I'd thank Dean for doing what he did as hard as it was for him to do this without fully informing his brother. But then again who knows his brother better than Dean so I guess he knew eventually he'd make him see what was right, and he did.
So all is good for that. I'd say Deans life will be in jeopardy or the girl is a killer or something and of course Dean would hesitate because he did create her....he'd rely on his brother to protect him like he would protect Sam.

Yes, Dean was right for what he did. But that's not exactly what I'm worried about. Dean looked bad in some ways because Amy was painted in such a sympathetic way and if they do the same here, then it's just going to fuel the versus wars. I guess I'm more worried about the image. Because it sometimes comes out harsher onscreen. I understand Dean's hesitation, but I do worry that it isn't going to look like Sam protecting Dean. I'm trying not to judge the episode, but it seems like a lot of people are really nervous for this episode.
I'm excited to see Sara Canning, but I'm nervous the episode is going to take a turn and make it out to be the girl is only being killed because she is a monster. I'm more worried about how the characters are going to look and the aftermath than whether it's right or wrong. I hated how Dean was treated in some parts of the fandom after that episode. I don't want to see that happen again. I don't know a lot of posters who liked or thought the Amy storyline was good. So, I'm dreading bringing it back up considering how many people disliked it and now, if it is going to be brought up again with Dean's daughter then it could be worst but towards Sam and I've had my fill with Sam nastiness for the year already.

What is wrong with me? All I could think of about the picture accompanying the article is "Sam/Jared is rocking the puppy eyes please-take-care-of-me expression." No wonder human witnesses can't resist him most of the time.
