The fat black man who wears a white suit was Steve Urkel's neighbor. Steve's parents were brilliant scientists who didn't seem to care about him, even leaving him behind when they moved to Russia. So Steve adopted the Winslows and made Carl a father figure. No matter how annoyed Carl got, you knew he cared about Steve more than his real father.

Carl was on both shows at the same time. The wedding rehearsal on "Mike and Molly", and the disaster drill here.

It sad what happen to their Daughter on the show. This is from a TV writer I see online whose articles used to be in a paper I read at a library. "For example, viewers still ask what became of Richie Cunningham’s older brother Chuck on Happy Days and Judy Winslow on Family Matters."

I looked and Rachel has been on "Are We There Yet?"
Eddie was Malcolm on "The Young and the Restless". I didn't know that. Richie is Devon on that show.
Laura is producing a show for Comcast Cable in Washington, DC.
Judy became a porn star but has cleaned up her life and had a baby.
Urkel was on "Dancing with the Stars".
And we know Carl is on "Hart of Dixie".

Jess on "New Girl" does a perfect Urkel. Her new neighbors didn't know who that was until she finally gave in and showed them online. They thought Urkel was the sttar of a web program.

Ironically, Carl from "Family Matters" is Carl's pastor on "Mike and Molly. Also the pastor who married Mike and Molly since Molly's overly casual attitude about religion caused Mike's priest to refuse to marry them.
Carl is quite immoral, but this is understandable. The pastor and Carl's grandmother, who is trying to straighten her grandson out, regularly have extramarital sex and don't seem to see anything wrong with it. I'd like to know what kind of church allows that.

I saw Urkel on "Are We There Yet". Not a nice guy. He hit on a woman he knew was married after the woman's husband recommended her event planning services to his charity. Her brother is Ice Cube, though, and that's not good. Her husband is Terry Crews, which isn't much better.

And now Carl is on "The Neighbors" as Jackie's father, newly arrived from the home planet. It's looking like he and his wife, Merdith Baxter, could be semi-regulars.

Eddie was a prisoner on a couple of episodes of "Anger Management". A mean one, too. The regulars are all so nice, even when they talk like prisoners would be expected to talk.
