I saw Remains on the Chiller channel.
On a scale from 1 to 10....with Walking Dead being 10......i give it a 5.
Not a total disaster....but worth watching.

I saw Remains on the Chiller channel. On a scale from 1 to 10....with Walking Dead being 10......i give it a 5. Not a total disaster....but worth watching. The little kid from Pet Cemetery is in that movie. Obviously he's all grown up now! |

I've been reading so much of the Game of Thrones books that I automatically change that phrase in my mind to 'a man full grown' now.  |

Ok so I took Moon's thread about the zombie in the well and turned it into a general Walking Dead thread. There will be a marathon of Season 1 and the first half of Season 2 on AMC beginning at 11am Saturday (12/31) and running until 1am Sunday (1/1) all times Eastern.  |

Watching the marathon, I am struck by how hard Rick tries to be a good leader!
Gah! the scene where Rick sees Lori & Carl @ camp gets me every time!!
Shane might be a psychopath but he sure is a damn hot one!

So my dad has just informed he he doesn't like this show because 'the cops think that just because they're cops they're automatically in charge'
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the other survivors kinda put them in charge by constantly looking to them as to what to do?
My dad is all "There ain't not more cops in this situation". No there's not but there's still leaders and followers ass-hat!

Naturally people are going to look at Shane and Ric as the leaders because they are cops, I mean it's natural you got two guys who were cops the people are going to be like these dudes are in charge, it's not like they took the role as leaders all on their own. Like with Daryl and all the stuff I've been reading with Norman interviews Daryl is looked at as a leader but like Norm said it's a position Daryl didn't ask to be placed in yet he's looked at as a leader and according to stuff he's gonna have some problems with that role. |

I'm going to put this out there and haters gonna hate. I really don't believe Daryl is this racist guy. He saved T-dog twice, once from zombies and if Daryl never gave them those pills T-dog would have not made it long enough to make it to the farm house to get treatment, even that old man said something along the lines of those pills gave him time and if he didn't have them he would have died before even getting to the farm house. Call me stupid but the fact Daryl did this stuff doesn't scream to me he's this racist.

I'm still kicking myself in my own ass for even considering shipping Daryl and Andrea what the fuck was I thinking, my man is too good for her.  And Dale dude why the fuck would anyone want to shoot the dude that can get you food and find you with his super tracking skills if you get lost, like for reals. That line pissed me off. |

I never thought Daryl was I mean he made the china man comment to Glen but he does tease Glen and I think it was just in a teasing way he said the china man comment. I also love Glen, he is my little underdog I root for. I actually like Carol and she was nice to Daryl before the farm house, remember the episode where Daryl and Andrea went out looking for Sofia where he told Andrea the story about how he got lost as a kid and Dale was really worried about Andrea well Carol said this, "“You don’t need to worry, she’s with Daryl, if anything happens he’ll protect her”. She didn't directly start being nice to his face until the farm house but before then she did seem to have some respect for him. Shane has lost his mind but I understand his thinking. The only thing about Shane that pissed me off was the comment he said to Daryl in the mid season finale about "being methed out and how Sofia would be scared of him" his brother did that shit and I'm pretty fucking sure Daryl is not some meth head and I honestly don't think Sofia would have been scared of him. I also understand Ric's thinking and I totally want like a Daryl/Ric bromance, I still find it funny Ric is always the one to hold Daryl back from kicking ass. |
