There are a lot of things that I want to see...but I am sure they will not come to pass. Whatever became of Jim? We never saw him die. He was just left behind...under a tree...on the side of a road. If everyone is already infected...HOW CAN A SIMPLE BITE CAUSE YOU TO DIE...AND TURN? They cut off Hersel's leg for nothing. What became of the 'Vatos'?...all of them? Where is Morgan and Duane?

Inviso-Spoiler quote from Andrew Lincoln...
"Something happens that I find incredibly shocking that relates directly to my character and the prison family. It really came out of left field for me and I never expected it. When I read the script, I was really shocked."

From all of the input that I have seen...my guess is that Rick sends Carl, Hershel, Beth and Judith over to Morgan for protection...while the rest of the 'family' stay behind and devise a trap to lure The Governor and his men into The Tombs.
It is there that they will meet their end.
Not by Daryl's hand...not Andrea's, Michonne's or Rick's.

On the other hand...what if Rick were to go to the Governor and ...just before the battle....ask him to take his children and Beth... to raise as his own...in case the prison group were slaughtered?

Well... so much for those stupid theories.... ... I am going to stand by one thing. If they are already infected, why does a mere bite cause them to think that it is all over? If it is a mortal wound...OK! ...YES!...Game Over. Andrea's wound was not a game changer in my opinion. And since we did not see an actual 'Head Shot' on her...I say that the possibilities for her character are not done. If she died to save someone... maybe...but it was a senseless death without meaning.

It seems as if there has been some talk of a spin-off. I cannot seem to find an article that talks seriously about it.

Spin-off...hmmm... Daryl and Lil Asskicker on the run. Daryl re-connects with Carol and they do whatever it takes to survive.

Looks like it might be a prequel that will stand on it's own...no current characters will crossover.

A prequel would be a way of revealing how the walker gene was activated. I would watch it.

SPOILER< < < < < < < < < < The Walking Dead Season 4: When Is Carol Coming Back?Good news, Walking Dead fans! It now looks like we’re going to see long lost Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) back on the hit show sooner rather than later. When Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) first banished her from the prison way back in Episode 4, “Indifference” because she made the choice to kill an already ill Karen and David in an effort to protect others from the flu, we were worried about her. Sure, Carol knows her way around a knife, but surviving on your own in a zombie apocalypse would be a challenge for anyone. At first, The Powers That Be were evasive about when and even if we would see Carol again, but now executive producer/comic book creator Robert Kirkman swears she will be back before Season 4’s end. “Carol will definitely return before the end of the season,” he dished to TV Guide. The second half of Season 4 resumes on February 9, 2014, and we have eight more episodes before the season finale next spring. Robert didn’t offer any additional details about exactly when or in what capacity Carol would return, but seeing as Team Prison is now split up into several different groups, we’d venture a guess and say that one such group encounters Carol on her solo travels. Episode 10’s director, Tricia Brock, said that installment will feature four different storylines and "some of the oddest couplings of groups you've seen" on the show, so Carol could very well encounter some of her onetime allies during that hour. It would certainly be interesting to have her run into Tyreese, since he still doesn’t know that she was responsible for killing Karen, but we’ll just have to wait a few months to see how everything plays out. www.wetpaint.com/walking-dead/articles/2013-12-05-season-4-when-carol-coming-back

It seems as if there has been some talk of a spin-off. I cannot seem to find an article that talks seriously about it. Here is an article from November 15. "By Ryan Reed November 15, 2013 4:25 PM ETAMC is planning a Walking Dead spinoff for 2015, and early buzz suggests this companion series will be a prequel to the original's zombie apocalypse storyline. According to TV Line, the rumored plot will focus on the events leading to the zombie epidemic, along with early efforts to contain its devastating spread. Though AMC representatives declined to comment on the buzz, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman recently told IGN that the series will be set in "a really different location with completely different people." "We are going to see an entirely different corner of the Walking Dead," Kirkman said. "It definitely won’t be set in Georgia, I can at least say that. It’s important to us that this show exists on its own. The spinoff has to be a show worthy of existing, or else we’ve all sold out. So that’s something we’re all working hard towards doing, and I think we can pull it off. I think that the ideal situation is, when you’re watching the spinoff, you’re like, 'Wow, this is a really awesome show.' The whole other show doesn’t need to exist for this show to be cool and stand on its own." See how easily I am distracted by TWD comments? But, I am now returning to the football game.

I just realized that Morgan's son, Duane, was named after the actor who played Ben in the original Night of the Living Dead.

Thanks. That is a nice shout-out.
My friends and I went to a drive-in to see Night of the Living Dead. It scared all of us and we were stuck because it was a no-no to turn your headlights on to exit the lot. I can laugh now, but I will never forget us pulling jackets over our heads to protect ourselves from the zombies.

There is a rather upsetting spoiler out there concerning the next cast member to leave the show. I do not even want to post a link for it. On the bright side...INVISO-SPOILER... there are several people posting a clip from the last episode that show Tyrese carrying something as he flees the prison. You can clearly see that his rifle is slung over his shoulder so it is not his weapon that he is holding.
It appears as if he is cradling something...or someone.
