Very excited for tonight! There are only 6 characters left from the first season and only 4 from the original camp. Curious to see who will continue.

Sick of these damn black and white flashbacks and then they go back to current time. It's so flipping annoying

I stuck through the first hour, but I just couldn't last. Too boring. Watching a herd of "walkers" walking was not real stimulating. Also, who are the new members of the community? The kid with lots of hair and glasses? Kind of surprised to see him go out with Glenn to direct the walkers path. He did well, though. Was hoping Gabriel would be thrown in the herd's path to guide them. But, damn it, he's still alive. Next week needs to step it up several notches to keep it above the boredom of "Fear The Walking Dead."

I was surprised to see it was scheduled for 92 minutes so I did not try to stay up to watch it. I will watch it sometime today, but I wanted to read your comments first.

I can only comment on the first 60 minutes, which weren't all that stellar, IMO. Maybe the last 30 minutes make up for that. I'll have to try re-watching it next week. However, I would love to know what you thought...

I think the "warning" given about the flashbacks helped me to adjust quickly. I really enjoyed the episode. I think the black and white flashbacks made it easy to follow the timeline and each flashback had a relation to the current time scene that followed it.
I enjoyed Morgan's conversations with Rick and he is helping Rick regain some of the empathy he had lost.
Daryl is respectful, but he needs to keep pushing the issue of hunting for other survivors. It gives him an important role and purpose and he needs that.
I am glad the mullet did not get killed; he is the most entertaining person. Who else would say "Hello" when there is a gun pointed at his face?
Glen has always been a considerate and caring man, but it is still difficult to see why he would trust someone who tried to kill him in cold blood.
More later...I need to watch The Flash.

Let's see, there's Rick, Carl, Judith, Daryl, Carol, Glenn, Morgan, Maggie, Michonne, Sasha, Rosita, Eugene, Abraham, Tara and Gabriel. That's 15. Why does Eugene tell Heath that there are 13 in his group and then change it to 12? I guess he changed it because of Noah's loss, but he still got the math wrong.

Why does Eugene tell Heath that there are 13 in his group and then change it to 12? I guess he changed it because of Noah's loss, but he still got the math wrong. I like your math, but since Eugene is the self-proclaimed smartest person in the group, just for the fun of it, let me take a stab at guessing his calculations. Perhaps he was thinking of members who would participate in a battle...Judith is too young, Gabriel is persona non grata, and he is not sure of Morgan. More about Morgan. I was happily anticipating Morgan's reunion with Rick, and I was concerned at the end of last season that we would be disappointed. The first thing he saw was Rick shooting a man and looking just a little crazy. Then Morgan saw Rick end a man he had a beef with. However, Morgan clearly understood Rick's motive and they are coming to an understanding. I am happy about that. I think it will be interesting to see Carol try to keep up the facade around Morgan. They have been teasing us about a large herd of walkers for several seasons and they outdid themselves. I thought their plan would work, but I should have known better. My guess is that it was the vengeful Wolves who were honking the horn.

Hiya Arbs! Your explanation makes sense. I thought it might have been a ploy by the director or writers. It got me to thinking we might have lost some people over the break. With all of the flashbacks, I was waiting to see who might have gotten killed. Good to see you!

I also think it was the wolves beeping the horn. During the sneak preview, it appears that the community is under attack but we don't see any walkers. I think it's the wolves taking advantage of the fact most of the fighters are away trying to herd those walkers away.

Thanks. I missed the sneak preview. Our group can't catch a break for long.
