I would watch it just to see what Mr. Gold and the Mayor are up to. Emma can take Henry and leave town for all I care. I multi-task while the show is on and have no problem keeping up with the action storyline. It's a good time to fold laundry, sort mail, pay bills and exercise.

I used to be able to do that in college. I could do certain types of homework while watching TV. But back then I watched reruns of episodes I had seen too.

Once Upon A Time....there was a TeeVee show that had a great promise....and a great premise.
As tv shows go.....there was only so much 'shelf-life' for this idea.
At best....it might be stretched across 2 seasons...but no more.
We are tired of 'Lost' type shows. We want answers. We do not like to be stringed along . We want a happy ending.
If Disney/ABC draws this out much further....it will be a slap in the face of every child who ever dared to believe.

Then I think I have bad news for you, Timmy... it had already been renewed for its second season... but there has been some answers... are you all caught up to the season finale?

I agree. They answered all of the important questions and laid the groundwork for a very interesting 2nd season.

I was puzzled by newspaper commentary on the new film "Snow White and the Huntsman". The writer said the film was so much better than the series and then went on to trash the film.
Then I looked at what was said more carefully. No, the film LOOKED better than the series. Of course it did, because movies have bigger budgets. Looks aren't everything. The writer said the series had better quality in terms of how it affected the viewer.

I have gone to too many movies where the previews looked great but the movie did not hold my interest. I'll wait until someone else sees it and listen to their comments.

Where are the sticky threads?
On "2 Broke Girls", the restaurant manager commented that the boy who was too old to be breast-feeding was his height. And as he said that, he realized his mouth was at the same level as the breast of one of his waitresses.
But I'm glad he's on that show instead of this one.
This show is getting complicated. And we have to keep up with three realities instead of two. I was worried they wouldn't be able to come up with new fairy tales but they sure have.
Lancelot got a Cheer in TV Guide.

I hope everyone gets the significance of the restaurant manager comment. Although if he was on the show, and six of the seven dwarfs were still played by the same actors, he would definitely stand out. They're too tall.
Last night's was really good. We had some real development for a change. I still despise Mulan.

Something confuses me. They went to the trouble of having Emma wear glasses in flashbacks. She doesn't have the money for the surgery, so she must wear contacts. Which would be a problem in the "other world".

That was quite an episode last night. Someone needs to start a topic.
Emma and Snow are back but they almost didn't make it.
I was very confused as I was forgetting Hook was in the other world before the curse. I actually thought that was Cora, not Regina.

TV Guide gave the show a jeer for making Rumpelstilskin, not Peter, responsible for the captain's distinctive feature.

TV Guide gave the show a jeer for making Rumpelstilskin, not Peter, responsible for the captain's distinctive feature. Oops. I went to a library that actually keeps their TV Guides, unlike the one where I saw this. In the process of confirming I had seen this one, I discovered it was a reader, not the magazine, that said this.

I like the series and when they introduce new characters, I wait to see what changes they will make. I notice the new super hero series have been changing the details about the characters too. And may I mention Smallville was on for a hundred years before Superman could fly?

Wow, what an episode. I don't even know where to begin.
Red shouldn't be prettier than Snow.

Mary Margaret looks like the Vicar's wife on "Keeping Up Appearances".
I keep seeing a woman who looks like Hyacinth Bucket.

As in this show, the dwarf in the movie "Dungeons & Dragons" was not significantly smaller than the others. But he looked like a big macho brute, so he was a miniature version of that.

I saw the movie "Jack and the Beanstalk". In some ways, it was like this show, only more kid-friendly.

"Are We There Yet" has had a character named Lil Kanye West in a couple of episodes. He would definitely fit in on this show.
The short jokes, most unintentional, were coming at a fast and furious pace in one episode I saw over the weekend.

I'm disappointed. It's not a real two-hour premiere, but an explanation of what's going on (which is still interesting) followed by an actual episode.

The short jokes, most unintentional, were coming at a fast and furious pace in one episode I saw over the weekend. Someone referred to 12-year-old Kevin as "Fun Size". If I'm not mistaken that was an insult on "2 Broke Girls". Kevin isn't actually short.
