Is it odd?

Is it odd that Jensen and Jared had two days off, Thursday and Friday, from work? I mean sure, they need the break, but I mean, I am selfish and want the episodes to center around their characters. Reading that they had two days off made me sad because whatever episode they are filming will probably not focus on the brothers as much. It must suck being the only main characters/actors and wanting to please the fans, but at the same time wanting a break, or do other stuff.

Yeah it is. Cliff tweeting about it saying they had Thursday off and Friday. I still find it odd, but what the hell, they got a well deserved vacation.

Wow....odd? Well, I just don't know. Since I know absolutely nothing about how television shows are made, I couldn't say whether it's normal or odd.
I'm just hoping the boys are going to give us some great episodes when they return in March.

Maybe the fact that they had 2 days off this week just proves how damn good they are at their jobs. They were able to get all their scenes done in a timely manner and that gave them some well deserved time off.

Yeah, could be that they are a little ahead of schedule. Maybe some of the prep work for upcoming episodes aren't done yet and the boys can't really move forward until that's done, so they gave them the time off.

Like SoCal, I don't know much about filming shows, so I could totally be wrong, but threw that possibility out there.

The boys are off because they're going to be at the convention in Los Angeles.

Does it really matter if they have days off or not? They need breaks every now and then too. The shouldn't have to be forced to work every single day, 365 days a year. The more time they have off, the more they can catch up on sleep and rest up to go back in for more shooting come Monday. For all we know, they all may have shot their scenes for the episode currently filming and got themselves ahead or they separated it out and used Thurs and Fri to shoot scenes not requiring the boys.

You are probably right Rose. I am pretty sure it's normal, but still odd because the show is about Sam and Dean, I am selfish and want them both on my screen for the whole hour

No it's not odd. What I find odd is anyone being worried about what Jared and Jensen are doing all the time? Who cares if they have days off or what?

Maybe the episode they're currently filming is the Crowley and Castiel love story episode that I've been waiting for. Who needs Sam and Dean around for that? ;D
