So the karaoke theme is the 60s I think most of the songs are from the 60s. Below are links to youtube videos of the songs. I can't sing to high so for your other choices please keep that in mind. 1. I'm the Walrus
2. I can't get next to you
3. Lucy in the sky with diamonds
4. These Boots are made for walking
5. Magic carpet ride

Doesn't necessarily have to be 60s. You can sing something from the show which is always fun.
AC/DC - Highway to Hell, Back in Black, Shook me all night long, Carry on My Wayward Son Foreigner - Hot Blooded Asia - Heat of the Moment Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive
Or maybe a Poison song!!!!! Cause they freakin rock!!!! LOL
But if I had to pick from your choices I'd go with Magic Carpet Ride cause I saw Steppenwolf last year and that's one of my faves of theirs!!

I vote for "Renegade" since it was in my all time favorite episode, "nightshifter." But I'm sure whatever you choose, it will be awesome! LJ -- The very first concert I went to was when I was 12 or 13 and it was Steppenwolf. Guess who was their opening act? B.B. King! Good times.

I'll never forget Mark Pellegrino coming out on stage at ChiCon last year to sing Big Balls. Yeah, it's not 60s themed music. You can sing pretty much whatever you want, and like lovejeter says, singing something from the show is always fun!

I didn't realize he was just as nuts as Seb!!!!

I vote option number 2. That is if your feeling powerful that day, if not, you will feel awkward singing it.

So I don't have to go with 60s theme. Interesting the opens a lot of opinions. I do like heat of the moment. ;D So Cal I love "Renegade" that is why I won't sing it. That would be a terrible thing to do to that poor song.

i didn't even know that they gave us a song choice. I thought the disc jockey & Richard Spleight picked all the songs.

i didn't even know that they gave us a song choice. I thought the disc jockey & Richard Spleight picked all the songs. I found this on creation's website. Note that our DJ will be present in front of the theatre from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm to get your song selections set. I'm guessing they have a list of songs and I can pick from that list. So some of the songs I was thinking about might not be on the list. That is why I wanted a few ideas for back up. I have only karaoked on cruise ships in the past. Harder for the audience to escape. Unless my singing is so bad they want to jump overboard. This will be my first time to Karaoke on solid ground.
