No, the Los Angeles Police Department anticipated the win, and had officers EVERYWHERE, just in case. Holy shit...the police chief (Charlie Beck) is pretty hot!

Not so much in the streets as in local bars. Hockey fans differ from basketball/baseball/football thugs, uh, fans that way. They left the arena in a celebratory but orderly fashion leaving the police with nothing to do but direct traffic. Whew, I'm tired. Late night last night........

During our last major celebration in the downtown area, majority of stabbings took place within 4 feet of officers. True story: we could see officers in the videos looking clueless. Multiple times. They did an internal investigation - I guess to determine why the officers did not hear the screams.

Sometimes the cops can't win for losing! *sigh* If they do nothing, they're slugs, if they break things up, they're thugs. It's much nicer when the fans (of any sport) just act like nomal, responsible, functional members of society. Guess that's asking too much for some dim-bulbs.

They put the Rookies on crowd control because they needed extra cops. I felt sorry for them because the crowd was so dense you could barely squeeze past anyone. I avoid those events now because it's difficult to move around, and if I bump someone, I would probably be attacked for it. Your emoticon is scary.

I'm sure crowd is the bottom of the bucket for cops. I hear older cops make extra bucks by hiring out as crowd control at big bucks parties, but traffic control at a sporting event? You're probably right....rookie patrol. Isn't that emoticon cute? I love how she shifts from smiley to scary.

Well, our girl is back with her crazy avatar. I'm just glad she returned. I have been staying awake until 2 AM, playing on the computer. I am going to start going to bed earlier so I can accomplish something during the day. Even though I love science fiction and I love Supernatural, I do not like horror shows. I took two teenagers to see Prometheus because it was the only movie that looked interesting to us at 2:30 that day and it turned out to be a horror movie. We thought it was an adventure movie. Usually we investigate, but it was spur of the moment. I am looking forward to Dark Knight and Spiderman though. It should be fun to see how they re-write Spiderman's history.

I stay awake to see Craig Ferguson. He's hilarious. And so naughty!!!
Sadly, David Letterman isn't funny anymore. His jokes suck. He needs to retire.

The top ten list is so played out. And my God, Paul Shafer trying to be hip with that bald head is tragically unfunny.
When Letterman first came out, he was hilarious because he was a bit of a rebel. Now, he's just a media puppet. Worse, he looks as though he has one foot in the grave. Jay Leno is even worse.
Trust me, Craig Ferguson is the funniest guy on late night television. I adore him!

Craig Ferguson is hilarious! Unfortunately, the only time I get to watch his show is when I have insomnia and wake up at 1 a.m.
Letterman sucks. Leno is okay, but not great.

Yes, that's Anna. I've always loved her character. And I really like Julie McNiven, since she was on Stargate Universe as well.

I miss being here. Hanging out at my daughter's house. Storm caused problems with her Internet service but she does have electricity. I cannot access the videos on ProBoards Mobile or I would be in the songs that make you think of The Evicted. I'll have to play catch up.

Oh, Anti, I am so sorry you're in the part of the country so affected by this nasty weather. I hope you and your family are all safe and will be comfortable again soon. I wonderd why we weren't seeing your funny self here on the boards, but never thought you were caught up in the storms and power outages. Be safe.
