As for my location...jeez, California is no longer the golden state it's the pyrite state.  $20 billion in debt and our goofball governor wants to raise taxes. I'm still having a hard time believing he's governor again.   |

I just noticed your evil-doing and changed it back. Take that! Do you remember when you got yelled at and accused of bumping a sticky. We were like Mods-it's a sticky you can't bump it.. ![]() Oh yeah! I had forgotten that. What a moron that mod was. I'm thinking of calling this forum "the beautiful room." But unlike the room where Dean was trapped, abeit with his fill of beer and hamburgers, this forum has all the positives and none of the negatives of ....that "other"  forum. While I'm not a big televised football fan ( any game with 4 - 15 minute quarters that takes 3 1/2 hours to play), I was glad to hear the Broncos won.  |

Hello everyone in the Old Folks Home!  I was off here longer than intended. How has everybody been? Things are well here. Working and enjoying my days off in between. I was supposed to work today but I got called off which was great. Relaxing now then will be off to pick up my daughter and take her to dance class. captivefan I see you made it to here while I was off. I missed are chats. Your Lions are out and my Steelers fell right behind them.  Oh well, there is always next season. We had a lot of injuries late in the year and did not play well. I will route on anyone playing the Pats because I can't stand them. Enjoyed Friday's episode and glad the boys were back with us. Good feeling this second half of the season is going to be good. Talk to everyone soon!  |

Heya JIA, I feel partly responsible for Steelers losing out. Should have known as soon as I put a little money on them they were doomed! I agree with the injuries - Big Ben had more bandages than uniform on by the end I think.  |

The Packers will probably make it to the Superbowl again. I hear their defense is not doing all that great so you never know. My husband is routing for the Saints. I have always liked the 49er's so on that side any of those teams can go. On my AFC side the Pats will probably beat the Broncos. I think the Ravens will beat the Texans but I will cheer for the Texans in that game. The Ravens are in the Steelers division and rivals. If it comes down to the Ravens and Pats lord help me I will cheer on the Ravens because I think the can beat them. In the end if the Pats or Ravens make it to the Superbowl I will cheer for the NFC. I will get back to you before that. Wow, I made that a long story.  |

But i'll try for your hubby He did grow up in Pittsburgh and is a Steelers fan but his favorite team is the Vikings which as you know had a bad year. He likes to cheer for teams that have not been in the big games very often or never at all. |

So they didn't even have the balls to announce on the PCA's last night that Supernatural won "Best Drama?" What jerks. Just because of their shiny toys didn't win, they decided to take their ball and go home. This is why I don't watch awards shows. |

For the first time, evidently, the PCA's didn't bother to announce on the live portion of the show that Supernatural won "Best Drama." It had been shoved off to the side in a pre-show taped segment that was only aired on some obscure cable channel. THIS is why I don't watch awards shows. I guess if their baby darling shows don't win, they just won't play. |
