I remeber those days!! And then in the summer they would repeat the season for those who missed it! There weren't "Mid-Season shows" there weren't "Winter Premiers". There weren't 13 week seasons!

We might get a few repeats throughout the year but it was usually around Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and New Year's week.

Yeah...those were the days.

Yep....I can remember that's how "All in the Family" finally got to be a hit. When it aired originally, it was up against some popular show and didn't get very many viewers. But over the summer, people who wanted to see shows that weren't repeats for them, watched it, and it became one of the biggest hits in TV history. Now, if a show isn't a blockbuster in its debut, it's toast. O well....it's always something.
