The costumes were really good on The Imitation Perturbation.
I enjoyed the final scene the most. When I heard the theme for "Halloween", I was shocked Sheldon was going to watch that. Then Amy came to the rescue. That was funny.
The "Halloween" movie scared me so badly, hearing the theme fills me with a wee bit of anxiety.

I have a good reason for not watching this show. Aside from the fact that it's being recorded on a TiVo that, assuming it will make it until I watch, is not the one that is almost full and is therefore not a priority, the show will end soon and waiting just means I won't have to give it up as soon.
The Barenaked Ladies performed in the Macy's parade, though it was quite cold to do that.

I think "Paintball" was a good episode. Both the paintball game and Sheldon's reaction to Amy being spokesperson were funny.
I am glad their paper was a success. When they were getting ready to read reviews, I was sure there would be some harsh ones. I was pleasantly surprised they did not go that route.

Sheldon is childishly selfish when he wants to be acknowledged as the best. It was amusing when he tried to point out why he would be the best candidate as a sperm donor. It was very amusing when he said he had a nice personality.
The funniest scene to me was when Penny put the small cup on the table as if it was for a donation. Then she said Leonard was the best choice and he dialed Sheldon so Penny could repeat that.
I also enjoyed Raj's attempts to woo Anu.

I don't remember them all, but Jimmy (his character's name on "Speechless") said his father called a dumbbell (the exercise equipment) a Jimmy bell. there were other similar insults.
Jimmy was driving his younger son somewhere when they had a flat tire. Jimmy was so excited to have this opportunity to teach his son something and have a father-son moment. While he was bragging to no one in particular, his son changed the tire. "All done!"
Jimmy was about to teach his son to put up a shelf. Ray showed him how. Jimmy was teaching Ray to shave. Ray showed him how. Jimmy was going to teach his son to grill food. Ray taught him.
Poor Jimmy asked his wife if he was capable of doing anything.

The part about being a donor made it a pretty funny episode. Amy's reaction at the end was hilarious.
Although Leonard is not at all aggressive, I think they overdid the scenes where they were dismissive of him.

And they found a way to make sure he did enjoy it. I'm glad Sheldon didn't turn his friends in for making their own mistake. Once Leonard changed I just knew it had to be a dream. Amazing that it turned out to be a dream within a dream. |

I wanted to see them in order and I haven't watched the ones on the oldest TiVo yet. And don't want to once there are no more episodes because then they'll be gone. It was a hilarious episode for many reasons. Poor Bernadette has to prove she can handle it and she can't. I don't quite understand why Penny was torturing Leonard but we did get to see that outfit. Although that was in the commercials. I don't know what Amy did at the end. One episode got cut off and I must have seen it when I watched "Young Sheldon". |

Also, Bernadette said she weighed 90 pounds. I was thinking she had a weight problem. My pastor looks and talks like her AND she's short, but she doesn't weigh 90 pounds. So that's one thing they don't have in common. Was this the episode where Sheldon behaved so terribly on TV? And I didn't know he and Amy were really close to getting a prestigious award. I guess that should happen before this is cancelled. I am always reminded why this is my favorite show but at this point it's hard to think of having to give it up. I'd be happier if the episodes weren't as good. A couple of weeks ago I found myself not liking Sheldon, maybe because the young Sheldon is better. That has changed. |
