I saw a clip of Mayim's new show and I liked what I saw.

The geology professor played a weirdo on "The Neighborhood". He picked up Calvin in the desert when Dave got him stranded. Luckily, they both escaped. Dave stowed away in back.

I'm not sure which Sheldon, but I will assume this one.
A Charlotte Observer editorial said if California had Schwarzenegger, North Carolina has Sheldon Cooper.
But now, as a result of COVID, Gov. Roy Cooper is now being compared to Gary Cooper instead.

On another site I go to there is discussion about the pilot that never aired. It is available on YouTube and someone is responding to requests for something not available except where he has put it. His description sounds like the early days of The WB site when we couldn't go to web sites and see episodes we missed.

Mayim is an official host of "Jeopardy", but only for special episodes. It's quite a controversy because the new host for most episodes is the producer who was in charge of picking the host.

Correction. The new official host is out. But they're not saying Mayim will replace him.

Kaley was on an episode of "Superstar" which was about John Ritter. She got so emotional. When they met it was like he was her father. She was dressed in such a way he just had to cover her up and tell her never to dress like that again. They weren't even in character yet.
If Ritter hadn't died, and the show had been a success, would Kaley have ever been Penny? I can't imagine it.

Sheldon would love this. Zachary Quinto researched his family on last night's "Who Do You Think You Are?" and about a century before he was Spock, his great-grandfather, a union leader who played a major role in a Pittsburgh steel strike, used the phrase "live long and prosper" when he was merely writing for his union's newspaper.

Kripke was quite annoying on "The Neighborhood". He's still a loser. However, he talks normally.

Kal Penn of "Designated Survivor" was one of the scientists. Sean Astin, son of Gomez Addams and Patty Duke, was the other. I resisted watching the episodes on my oldest TiVo for various reasons, one of which was the fact I had no room to move episodes from there, when I could get the WiFi to work, and no time to watch anyway. But having moved the TiVo where I could sit in a comfortable chair, I can now, and must after twice believing the TiVo had quit working. So Sheldon and Amy find out they're up for a Nobel and then they find they have to share credit with two other people who "accidentally" proved the theory. And the limit on how many can share is three. Amy graciously agreed to step aside but Sheldon went in to see the president (that's familiar, but a younger Sheldon). I had forgotten Bernadette had such a high voice. I can't picture Penny being in charge. Well, I can, but she's not educated like the others. She was afraid to let Bernadette be her boss. More to come, but they'll be older.

The Paintball Scattering
SEASON 12, EPISODE 11 • NEW 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS
Penny and Leonard organize a paintball game, which results in mayhem when Sheldon becomes jealous of Amy; Koothrappali catches Anu with her ex-boyfriend; Stuart doesn't want to move in with Denise. Denise was one of the investigators on "Good Girls". Fortunately for them she was incompetent.

The Procreation Calculation
SEASON 12, EPISODE 3 • NEW 10/4/18, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS
Life gets complicated when Stuart starts bringing his new girlfriend home; Penny and Leonard talk about starting a family; Koothrappali explores an arranged marriage. Saw this one. Pretty good. I felt bad for Penny. Romance for Raj turned into a procedure.

The Tam Turbulence
SEASON 12, EPISODE 4 • NEW 10/11/18, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS
When Sheldon won't tell anyone why he's never mentioned Tam, his childhood best friend, Leonard takes matters into his own hands; Bernadette and Penny take Raj's fiancee out to dinner to get to know her. This is something people would have seen right after the other series introduced Tam. I am curious why the other series didn't address this, but after George's death, I guess there was so much to deal with.

The Planetarium Collision
SEASON 12, EPISODE 5 • NEW 10/18/18, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS
When Amy doesn't have time to work on super-asymmetry, Sheldon goes to great lengths to ensure she's available; Koothrappali doesn't want Wolowitz to join him in hosting a show at the planetarium. Sheldon's visits to the university president are funnier when he's younger. I don't think I've seen it. Raj may have done a planetarium presentation in another episode. But I was 20 minutes into the episode. This is usually the result of using my remote on the other TiVo but I can't stop that remote from changing things on the oldest TiVo.

The VCR Illumination
SEASON 12, EPISODE 10 • NEW 12/6/18, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS
A VHS tape from Sheldon's past inspires him not to give up; Bernadette turns into a pageant mom when she tries to help Wolowitz with his Magic Castle audition. Wow, that was close. For reasons I can't explain, pointing my remote at the newer TiVo makes the one where this episode was recorded do what I don't want it to, so I end up in the wrong place on the list of shows. I don't know what happened after this, because this was the last episode recorded, in chronological order, that I had not seen. Something happened during the episodes between this one and others I recorded on the same TiVo. Howard is a funny magician. He should have asked Amy's father for help, as the man is the greatest magician working today.

I remember the episode about the prestigious award and checked this thread for the description. There are around five episode descriptions missing. This is the one about the Nobel prize: 12.13 The Confirmation Polarization
Sheldon and Amy are thrilled when their super asymmetry theory is proven by two physicists, until they try to kick Amy off the Nobel nomination. Bernadette gets one of her drugs approved and wants a reluctant Penny to head the sales team. This sounds like one I watched recently.

This was an amusing episode about the couples. Even though the Longshoreman joke was in the promos, I still laughed when I heard it in context of what Sheldon was explaining to his bride. The Lego room service was very funny. Somehow I had not seen this one. The recording was of the rerun. And I really wanted to see Teller talk again, since he rarely talks on his other show.

The Consummation Deviation
SEASON 12, EPISODE 8 • NEW 11/8/18, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC • DVS
Sheldon tries to bond with Amy's father, but when Wolowitz lures Mr. Fowler away with magic tricks, Sheldon has no choice but to bond with Mrs. Fowler; Koothrappali and Anu try to get physical for the first time. This doesn't seem familiar. Maybe it's one of the episodes that's coming up. I don't want to watch anymore because I don't want it to end. But if Teller is on it, I have to. Ironic that it's Howard doing magic.
