"The Conference Valuation" is very funny. Bernadette's fiery personality at the conference was funny. She was also funny when she teased her husband about where the babies were.
I think it was funny that all of the friends joined in the experiments with the babies. Then Amy revealed her motive was to get Sheldon interested in children.

I thought maybe Amy was pregnant. Anything can happen since the show is about to end.
Bernadette was funny. Penny was so smart for a change, but demanding. I'm glad she didn't go to work for the other man. Bernadette is why she's working to begin with.
Sheldon is so much less mature than on his other show. But the experiments were funny.
Poor Howard.

See the Sports Thread. I was so close to 100 percent it's a good thing last night's episode was a rerun, but it wouldn't have recorded until the middle of the night.

I could easily picture Sheldon doing this.
Deidre's husband on "Fresh Off the Boat" had a train room. He loves watching the train go into the tunnel and wondering if will ever come out. And it does!
Jessica was concerned about Louis getting like that if he retired. Although they're nowhere close to retiring.

That was nice how Howard told that story, but then Bernadette had to go and turn it into a book. I'm glad Howard finally agreed to it, but his reaction was understandable. Nice animation at the end.
It was so funny that Amy was the one who overreacted. Sheldon was really trying. And of course it was so funny how they all said no. All of those were real people!
Kal Penn of "Designated Survivor" was one of the scientists. Sean Astin, son of Gomez Addams and Patty Duke, was the other.

The Laureate Accumulation SEASON 12, EPISODE 18 • NEW 4/4/19, 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS When competitors Pemberton and Campbell charm America on a publicity tour, Sheldon and Amy try to win over Nobel laureates Kip Thorne, George Smoot and Frances Arnold; Halley's fear of the dark leads to opportunity and conflict. ***
All of it was very funny. I hope Sheldon and Amy win the prize.
I agree it was understandable why Howard would not want his face on the book cover and his personal story to be published. I laughed when he was changing parts of the story as he read to his son.

Now that was a good episode. It never occurred to be Amy would get in trouble. People behave that way on TV all the time.
And Amy was under so much stress because now, women and girls would be discourage if she didn't win.
Sheldon liked the sensory deprivation tank. Such pretty colors and designs!
And Howard didn't get to keep his scooter.

The Inspiration Deprivation SEASON 12, EPISODE 19 • NEW 8:00 PM ON WJZDT 13 • TV-PG • STEREO • CC • DVS The weight of winning a Nobel Prize weighs heavy on Amy's shoulders; Koothrappali and Wolowitz try to relive the good old days after Wolowitz buys a scooter that looks like the one he had years ago.
I really enjoyed the episode. It was funny that Sheldon kept pointing his finger at others even though the H.R. lady said no finger pointing.
I laughed when Sheldon called "Bebe" as soon as the lid closed. I would not get in one of those chambers for the same reason. I would want to know if the emergency escape worked. I wonder if people are locked in or if they can push it open from the inside.
Was Howard's wife always so bossy? But it was too funny when Raj saw her and sped away on the scooter.
The vanity card at the end of the episode was also funny.

I think Bernadette has always been bossy.
I keep mentioning Evan on "Fresh Off the Boat" on the Young Sheldon thread. His parents remind me of Howard and Bernadette.

I wasn't expecting people to make fun of Raj.
Leonard giving up on trying to please people turned out funny. And of course Penny reacted pretty much the way we would expect.
I was surprised Leonard was so valuable to the university.

This is a week late, but I've been meaning to say for a long time that the sound on Sheldon's phone is the sound when the elevator arrives on your floor at the library at the college I graduated from. That's a common sound on phones.

I heard that sound on another show.
I forgot to post here last week.
Leonard did the right thing because they can't have a Nobel Prize winner who cheated. I was pleased things were worse than they first thought.
It was nice to see Kripke again, I suppose. I'm really hoping his other show gets to come back. His disabled son got into NYU and was enjoying being insulted for causing inconvenience for New Yorkers.

I'm not ready for this to be over. I didn't realize it was next week.
I was pleased Leonard's mom was being nicer until I found out why.
I didn't think Raj could leave but at this point anything is possible.
Sheldon is clueless as usual. Amy tries.

I enjoyed the hour-long finale. They fixed a lot of things which included the elevator and Sheldon's friendships.
I am glad Sheldon chose to acknowledge his friends rather than give his prepared remarks. That was a nice ending for the series.
Amy's make-over was gorgeous.

It was nice to see the elevator working. I was sort of hoping they'd get stuck in the elevator and not make it to the ceremony.
Sheldon finally showed maturity. He has before, but this was the best thing he has ever done. I'm so glad the others didn't go home. It was a great ending.
I agree with Sheldon about Amy's makeover. I've always liked her look.
The special that came after "Young Sheldon" was considered an episode of the show so I didn't have to remember to record it separately. It wasn't long enough. I did enjoy it but there were so many other questions to answer. Like how many sets of stairs are there? I feel sorry for the audience because the stage is so wide it must be hard to see when they film in some areas.
I was disappointed that when Kaley mentioned guest stars she didn't say Katey Sagal was her mother for many more episodes in one of her first roles than on this show.
This wasn't my last episode. I've recorded many more that I haven't watched yet. I was going to wait on them all.

"Superstore" has been the competition on NBC. Over the weekend I saw the first episode where Glenn and Amy got in an argument for the first time since Glenn stepped down as store manager to spend time with his family and Amy got promoted to replace him. Glenn's whining reminded me so much of Sheldon. One big difference: Glenn was upset his pastor couldn't sell his book and preach to the customers in the store, or even have a Bible study with other employees.

That was Jim I saw on The Tonys. One of the cast members of "Boys in the Band" looked like him but I wasn't absolutely certain.

Mayim appeared on "Match Game" this week. Every celebrity was introduced as "Dr." and she was, of course, introduced as "Dr. Mayim Bialik". But she was the only one who was. All the others had played doctors with an M.D. on TV or in the movies. The celebrities wore white coats. Alec Baldwin wore scrubs but I can't remember whether he also played a doctor. In one half both contestants were very pregnant. In another one was going for a Ph.D. and the other had some reason for fitting in. Once Mayim argued with the judge that her answer did match that of the contestant, and she knew this because she was a doctor. I thought she was a scientist with a doctorate. Another time she explained her answer by saying she was a doctor.

Also, every time a celebrity was wrong there was the sound of someone dying instead of the usual buzzer. Alec Baldwin got tired of that and so did I.
Mayim was on "To Tell the Truth" and she was the only one to guess correctly. If she had done it one more time she could have gotten a Doris. I don't know that anyone has ever been perfect but they invented the Doris only two weeks ago. Right now the host's mother Doris puts a dummy crown on the loser. Doris selects the loser in the event of a tie.

I saw Kripke on "Carol's Second Act" as a patient who faked an illness to get out of spending time with his family. He and Dennis the nurse were both on "Speechless" but they didn't have any scenes together.

Kripke was on "Perfect Harmony" as the new head of music at Princeton. Arthur thought surely he could get his job back and get out of that hick town, but no such luck.
And the character played an amazing heavy metal guitar solo, if you like that sort of thing. Whether the actor did or not, I don't know.
See The Vent Thread but one of these days I'm watching more episodes.
