Some of the books I like to read are the Pretty little liars and lying game series.....
I also like some of Lj smiths books she's the one who wrote the books for Vampire diaries and the Secret circle and she has a bunch more. Some of James patterson's books are good, and the chapters are short if somebody isn't into reading books where one chapter is like 40 pages or something.

Boy, you aren't kidding. One of Patterson's chapters I read in one of his many books was 2 pages long.

Boy, you aren't kidding. One of Patterson's chapters I read in one of his many books was 2 pages long. I'm fairly sure that in more than one Patterson book I have read so called chapters that were less than two pages
That is the only thing that bugs me about his books. I think he is an amazing writer and he is also the reason I stopped my most morbid habit ever.

I miss the goosebump books where you choose different actions in situations and it would tell you different pages to turn to for each diff scenario And as a side note i have started rereading the catcher in the rye, so far its goin alot smoother than the first time around

"The Source" by James A. Michener.
In dry regions of the world, cities spring up (pun unintended) around water sources. The rarer those locations, the more likely it was that the possession of the city would be fought over. As each city was destroyed, a new city would be built upon the ruins. Over time, the ground level would rise. This story is set at the time when the nation of Israel was founded. An archeological dig at the site of an ancient city digs downward and, like a time machine, uncovers artifacts from earlier and earlier time periods. Once at the bottom, each artifact triggers a story about the time in which the artifact was utilized. What results is the story of man's development as well as the development of his relationship with God. It is a thick book but well worth the effort to read it.

The Shack, it's a great story about a man whose daughter was brutally murdered and he has a chance to meet and talk with God, some people said it was a lot of mentions of New Age stuff but I don't think it did but it was a very good story and i heard they plan to make a movie about it.

I just finished "Sire" by Thomas Galvin. He published the book himself, but it is available in paperback and as an e book in quite a few places. It's the first book in a series about vampires at a fancy college campus. I really liked it.
