Yet one more thing we have in common!! Except I only got to ride a horse a couple/three times. BUT I did draw horses allthe time! Horses, and unicorns and pegasuses. Pages upon pages of loose leaf paper, filled with horses in all their many guises. LOL omg I did! I drew horses ALL THE TIME when I was a little girl! I grew up with horses, riding them, showing them, etc... I used to collect Breyer horses as well and even still have some from my childhood. I used to get in trouble at school for drawing horses on my notebook paper during class. I love horses to pieces. SOUL SISTER!!!!! Would you believe I still have my model horses too!!!! My very favorite is an Arabian mare and her foal. I saved my allowance quarters, and model horses were one of the things I aimed for. I even saved up enough once to buy a wood stables set for them. Lost in moves long ago, but I did have it once. The horses? Safely tucked away for when my little niece gets old enough. ;D

One of them is a Breyer model of Secretariat, and then I have Black Beauty model and did you ever read the Misty of Chincoteague books by chance? I have a model of her and her baby, Stormy. The rest are boxed away.

Have any of you been to the Chincoteague, Virginia where the feral ponies still roam? I didn't see the Pony Penning but the opportunity to up and kind of close to the ponies brought back the magical heyday feeling of "Misty of the Chincoteague". If you all get the chance it is worth it! The ponies are used to tourist and ignored just about everybody.

Now I know why you and I are so connected heee. That is seriously so cool. I adore my Misty and Stormy Breyers though. I remember not letting anybody touch them when I was younger! Hah! That was one thing I didn't have because my dad really sheltered me from a lot of stuff. He wouldn't let me watch Star Wars, so I never had a taun-taun or a remote-controlled R2D2, sadly enough.

I only have ever once in my life and I was a young kid, but I do remember it because we had family that lived in Virginia we were going to see, so I got to lay my eyes on the real wild ponies of Chincoteague one time in my life and it was the most amazing experience! I remember asking my mom if Misty would be out there and she just laughed and petted my head and told me maybe. I was so naive back then, but it was exciting! I think we have pics in one of the old photo albums. Either my mom or dad has, so I don't have access to them. I'd love to go out there now and see them. Horses have always been such beautiful, majestic creatures to me.

You should, Shadowhund, Emmy88 and I tried to retweet it but you know what a bitch twitter can be sometimes. So happy for you! thanks ya'll!! i'm still flabbergasted but i did print it out, lol...i just need to find a cute frame.... as for the movie role, yeah he said he turned it down cuz it would interfere with spn fliming...but it's awesome that he got offered the role and i agree with you shadow...sam and jared deserve more consideration and respect from the show and the showrunners!! You'll have to post the picture when you find the right frame. Agree totally about the respect. There has not been a lot lately for either of the guys. Not much since S5.

Work is brutal right now and what better way to salvage the sanity than got to Chincoteague to imagine being free like the ponies among the salt marshes, the expanses of the sky, and the wind in the hair. I'm so gone already! Well, waiting for the weather to get warmer. Apparently it's comfort before sanity.

I've never had the pleasure of travel up around that area, let alone to see for real what I read about as a kid. I'd love to see photos. Hee! Too bad the area isn't Florida, right now we have been bouncing around with winter temps from upper 60's to lower 80's. ;D

Well I discovered one huge benefit of twitter... oodles and oodles of pictures of Jared/Sam and Jensen/Dean! Seriously, once you follow one devoted fan whom all other fans sends pictures to, googling is pretty much the thing of the past.
Twitter god, I now take back half of the crap I've been saying about you.

See, technology is our friend! It brings us closer to Sam and Dean. Technology is a tool that can be used for good or evil or start a revolution. We are choosing to use it for good to get our Sam and Dean fix Yup, definitely for good!

So, finally tomorrow is the episode where Lucifer returns and then Sam can start to show signs of his impending breakdown over the next few episodes. I am thrilled to see Mark return. Sam and Lucifer's scenes in Hello, Cruel World were so intense and scary for Sam. I can't wait to see what Lucifer has in store for our Sammy. These next episodes leading up to Sam's breakdown and going in the asylum are going to be awesome. I am holding onto the safety bar for this wild ride ahead.

Good job! Can't explain why the visuals of Sam's name carved into the earth is so effective; it's very organic and appropriate.

Makes me even more excited about Lucifer's return! Yup, broke my own damn rule and peeked at that bit of spoiler. Sam refusing to engage with Lucifer (until now) reminds me of John Nash refusing to engage with his 3 hallucinations which helped him retain his sanity by the skin of his teeth. Dean did refer to the film Beautiful Mind so SPN is keeping up with Hollywood's easy version of managing mental illness, sheer will power.
