The first words of each part of the answer & the second words of each part of the answer needs to rhyme. Eg. Rat & Cat, King & Ring.

taltos, I could not solve this with a homonym, but if I use homophones, it reads:

I like word puzzles and have been attempting this one ever since you posted it. Today, my brain said to try a variation, and voila!
