I agree, and they had a couple of important offensive fouls called against them. But I think the Chargers are still in the playoffs, right?

I'll talk about my Christmas elsewhere but when I was reading the newspaper I went in a room where the TV was on but no one else was there. If I had known how to turn it off I would have since it was distracting but someone might have wanted to watch. I could hear enough to know things were bad. Someone got hurt and had to leave. The Panthers were so close to a touchdown and got intercepted. They were tied at the half and I was afraid to hear any more once enough people left that I could go in another room and read the newspaper.

Panthers won their final game. That was with the third-string quarterback (named Kyle) starting. And against the team with home field advantage, and on the road. I don't know who finished because he got injured. No one had anything to play for but I know it made fans feel better to have a win of any kind. Perhaps the Saints just didn't try because they didn't want to lose anyone for the playoffs.

The Ravens are the Division champs and will play the Chargers on Sunday in Baltimore. The local news just said the Chargers released 200 of their tickets. That's more tickets for Ravens' fans and they will have a balmy day at the stadium. The city is turning purple.
