Yes, she's tuned in to things most folks can't sense.
And by the way, Summer Glau, who plays River is a classically trained ballerina. You can see it often in the moves she makes.

Wash couldn't find the Doctor. He thinks they have been kidnapped. Captain is being cold and said leave them. Simon just saw the ship leaving them. Hope vanishes. Zoe has to lie to Shepherd. Mal does not like people talking back to him.  Jayne is a jerk. He's already going through the Doctor's belongings - real scavenger. |

Uh oh, memories of the Salem witch trials. Daddy is more interested in appearances than he is in his daughter. How horrible! He was pulled from a dinner party.  River revealed the previous head of the colony was probably murdered. I want to know what or who Shepherd really is. Nice he calls Serenity "home". |

And it's written by comedian Patton Oswalt, of all people. I have been spelling his name as if he is a sheep herder. Shepard is a very interesting character. I recall he was browsing and studying all of the ships when Kaylee hailed him. She asked him why he was more interested in the ships than he was in the destination. Coincidence or providence that he wound up on Serenity? A comic book about him means he is more interesting than I can imagine. Curiosity is going to kill me. I wonder if Simon's remarks at the store hurt Kaylee enough that she lost her interest in him.  Good episode. Enjoyed it very much. |
