And chloe perhaps you could help me as i do believe you have a kindle, my kindle seems to be frozen on a darkened blank screen its new so i hav e no idea why this wouldbe happening

Try holding the power button down for 20 seconds, it will do a hard reset and then press the power button again and it should boot up. |

We agreed on Friday at 9:30pm. But we were trying to ask Avp what day and time was best for her and she never responded about that.

What about like Friday or Saturday evenings (or whatever day it is easiest for you, but in the evenings)? I asked if we could do it earlier in the evenings because I know you usually are gone by now. It's only this week that we'd have to make it later.

How bout this first week we have it on Monday at 730 pm so it will be easier on everyone that way everyones weekend plans are out of the way and we can use whatever extra time we have on the weekend to read

What a wonderful idea avp ive always wanted to read great expectations but when I try I always get too busy or something and never end up finishing it and I love the movie version with Ethan hawke and it would be wonderful to read/watch this classic with you guys

I'm all for the classics. I've never read Great Expectations, and I damn well should.
At some point I would like to nominate not a novel, but what I think is the most amazing (and the best) short story ever written "The Snows of Kilamanjaro" by Ernest Hemingway.

Maybe sometime in the future (this doesn't have to be the next book we read), we could read The Stand by Stephen King. I still want to try to find that book and read it and I thought it'd be fun to read with you guys.
