Reliable rumor from convention:
"Richard Speight, Jr. has confirmed that the writers have told him that Gabriel IS NOT dead."
My speculation: Since he was not in heaven when the spell was cast, maybe he can deal with Metatron and return Castiel's grace.

I will be happy to see new promo pics for SPN, but I can see where some fans have a right to be upset about the title of the article. Let's face it, Jared and Jensen are the heart of SPN, and without them there is no show, why anyone would think it would be a good idea to leave Jared's name out of the title is beyond me. Way to stir up the fandom even more  |

Hi November  I like to give people benefit of a doubt, but I cannot think of any reason to omit Jared's name from the title of the article. His name is mentioned in the article, but not prominently. |

October 15 seems a long way off.
I read on Twitter that the crew will be reporting soon, probably this week, to set up for filming.
Ghostfacers used to annoy me, but I enjoy the episodes when I marathon previous seasons. I can appreciate the humor now. My initial reaction was "What the hell...?

It started in October last year, so I don't think it will be that bad of a wait. If it would stop the mini breaks thru the season I am all for it.
Put me in the "don't care" for the Ghostfacers camp, I only liked them in Hell House when it wasn't all of them.

I'm not too sure about the Ghostbusters return either. I hope it will be a more serious themed episode than so far. Will just have to wait and see. Wonder if they figured out it was Dean who screwed up their electronics the last time they met?  |

Having re-watched Taxi Driver this week, I noticed the rogue reapers were said to be able to cross to Purgatory, Hell...and Heaven. So. Right there could be the tool that will be used to allow Team Free Will to crash the Pearly Gates. How do we get our boys into Heaven short of dying (again) and no longer having access to Angel Air? Reapers. Is it too soon for me to hope that this recent disruption of cosmic forces will be the sort of thing to get Death interested in involving himself again?  |

According to SpoilerTV....the first episode being filmed is called "Devil May Care" and is going to feature two new hunter characters. It should be noted that this may not necessarily be the premiere episode, just the first filmed.
One is Tracy who is supposed to be a beautiful kick-butt hunter. The other one is Irv, a manly hunter that is supposedly an old friend of the Winchesters.
There is quite a bit of speculation that Tracy is going to be a love interest. Personally, I'd rather not have that. I'd rather her be someone like Ellen, Gwen, or Tamera.
Although to be fair, if Gwen wasn't related to them, she may not have been a bad choice for Dean. Sure, she was a little freaky at first, with her whole line to Dean about "having delicate features for a hunter". But I felt she and Dean kind of hit it off in Family Matters.

I read that they start shooting on July 11th. I can't help but wonder if this episode will be a little light on the Dean side.
Given that JJ wouldn't even be 6 weeks old yet and Danneel almost never goes to Vancouver, I wonder if they won't write Dean lighter to give Jensen more time to spend at home.

Just saw an update concerning the episode "Devil May Care"
According to Spoilertv.com, while it's the first episode they are filming, it's actually going to be Episode 2.
Can't help but wonder if it will be a bit Dean-lite to accommodate Jensen to let him spend a little more time at home. Which is totally understandable, by the way.

I am kind of afraid to speculate on what they might do in the beginning of this season, I was really hoping they would spend more time in Purgatory last year, especially at the first of the season, but no, so I don't even have an idea of where they might start this year.
I would hope that they would try and find a way for Jensen, and the rest of the guys to have a little more time off to be with their families.
These guys work so very hard, they need to have a break now and then.

One, because the baby wouldn't even be 2 months old when they start shooting on Thursday. And second, because, from what I've heard, Gen and Thomas live with Jared in Vancouver--or at least spend the majority of their time up there while he's filming--so he doesn't have to take the time flying back and forth. |
