"If you die before I do, I'll kill ya!" was another good one. Now, if they wanted to make me REALLY HAPPY, bring back Frank, too!

Bringing back Frank would be a smart move. We never saw him die, so they would not need to resurrect him.
I would love to see Frank's reaction to the boys throwing holy water and boric acid on him and slicing him with a silver knife, amongst other tests.

Sunday is SPN's turn at Comic Con, correct? I hope that we can hear some interesting information about the next season, but I am not looking forward to Bob Singer being there, he is such a droll, humorless person that I have my own name for him, Crabby.
When he used to do the producer reviews, it sounded like he couldn't care less about what was happening in the episode.
I know I would be interested in seeing more Kevin and even Benny coming back.

SNEAK PEEK | A Season 8 sizzle reel, set to Doobie Brothers’ “Rockin’ Down the Highway” was followed by a first look at the new season, which features Kevin freaking out in the Men of Letters bunker. When Dean enters, the prophet almost shoots him with an arrow. “You’re a crappy shot, Katniss,” Dean remarks before Sam brings in a bagged-and-cuffed Crowley. They want the name of every demon possessing a human, and they have a plan to get them by putting Crowley in his “own personal hell”: Isolation. ANGEL MADNESS | “We’re going to learn pretty quickly that a world full of fallen angels is pretty much a free-for-all,” previewed Carver. “We’re going to see it’s not one unified body. We’ve got lots of angels out there with lots of different agendas. Many are feelings lost and vengeful. A world of fallen angels is a dirty, bloody, scary and, in some ways, a very human world.”

Someone’s got a secret on Supernatural, and it’s a major one. When the CW series returns Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Winchesters will have to band together like never before to deal with the aftermath of Metatron’s actions in Heaven, not to mention handling Crowley and his ilk. But all of that may prove difficult when a key piece of intel threatens to pull the brothers apart. I heard in Jensen's interview at Comic Con that Dean is going to be keeping a big secret from Sam in season 9. When will they learn that keeping secrets from each other never ends well?

Thanks. Good and juicy information. Secrets...tearing the brothers apart...hmmm... Pissed off angels should lead to havoc on earth. Thanks to Supernatural, I no longer think of angels as helpful or loving entities.

Here's some more:
Episode 9.03 of Supernatural will be called "I'm No Angel".
It will feature a character called Bartholomew who is a bureaucrat angel sent to organize the angels.

"I'm no angel" is a very interesting title. Well, you did say he is a bureaucrat.

Is it even possible for a bureaucrat to EVER be angelic?

Is it even possible for a bureaucrat to EVER be angelic? I do not think so! Comic Con - essentially the same info as SoCal's July 21st post plus a mention of Castiel.

We've been fooled in the past so I'm hoping we're not being fooled again. It would be fabulous to have the boys back one week early! Thanks for the update, AA!!

Saw this item @ Spoiler.TV.....talking with Guy Bee.....
Q: What can you tell ‘Supernatural’ readers about episode one of Season 9 – ‘Devil May Care’? Can you spill a little something to get us through this hiatus?
A: Although I got the honor of directing the first episode of Season 9 it will air second due to actor availability (one of the guest stars was only available the first 2 days of the episode so we had to shoot him out) - It picks up right where the season premiere leaves off, and the season premiere picks up right where the season 8 finale leaves off! (unlike the one year gap between S7 and S8). Sam has been "cured" and the boys resume their lives as if the trials that Sam endured in S8 never affected him. We'll find out how he made this miraculous recovery in the premiere episode. The boys get word of a few of their hunter contemporaries that have been taken hostage by a familiar face from Season 8. He/She leads them to a spot outside Eugene, Oregon so He/She can get info about where Crowley is. How He/She is able to take hunters as hostages is a big part of the episode; by the recruiting of demons and getting them to "Be All That They Can Be!"

Interesting...
My guess is he/she is Abaddon.
Turning demons into trained soldiers will certainly make life more difficult for the hunters.

So is it true that Dean's going to have a girlfriend this year? I don't know what to think about that.
I guess I feel that either both boys should have girlfriends or neither should have them, but not just one. I know that Sam had Amelia last year, but I don't really count that because they were broken up before Dean made his reappearance.
I'm not saying that they could never have girlfriends/wives, but I don't know if right now is the right time.
I wouldn't mind something at the end of the series. Something we see in their future.
IDK, I just don't care for the idea of Dean hooking up with someone full time.
Although that's one way to spread out the screen time between Jared and Jensen, like they've been doing with the boys the last few seasons.

I hadn't heard about that, Waggy. One would think that after all the heartache Dean went through with his last long term girl friend, Lisa, he would stay away from that sort of stuff. And Castiel won't be able to wipe him from this girl's memory since he will have lost his "angel mojo." I always remember him telling Sam that he had to distance himself from anyone he could care about since the "bad guys" would use it against him. Why would he open himself to that? Doesn't make sense.

I am surprised at the news of a girlfriend for Dean. But I will not become concerned until she moves into the Bunker. I bet Castiel would really pout about that. The real problem with the relationships with Lisa and Amelia was that they interfered with the guys hunting. Taking someone to the movies periodically should not be a problem.

I guess where I'm getting this "girlfriend" bit is based on the introduction of a hot, young, new female hunter that they are going to introduce.
Although I don't recall the exact words, the way it sounded, it seemed like Dean may very well hook up/connect with her.
At the very least, that was how quite a lot of other posters interpreted the wording.

From the Supernatural.TV website:
Supernatural season 9 will be full of fallen angels, and now one of the big ones has been cast.
The role of Ezekiel, a fallen warrior angel who will first appear in the October 8 season premiere, will be played by Battlestar Galactica alum Tahmoh Penikett.
Penikett is a well-established sci-fi star, playing Helo on BSG and Agent Paul Ballard on Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse. He’s also had tons of notable guest roles on Castle, Arrow, Continuum, Haven, The Killing, Smallville and more.

So far I am ok on what I have heard on the next season, I just hope they keep some of the characters we like, and not replace them all with new ones that we are not attached too. Course, it is SPN and no one is safe.

From Spoiler.TV: Episode 9.05 of Supernatural has a character called Robin, who is now in her 30's and is now a waitress at a small diner. She remembers Dean from their adolescent romance from nearly 20 years ago. I wonder who will play young Dean. I hope they find someone as good as Colin Ford was as young Sam.

There is quite a bit of talk out there that Dean's getting a girlfriend and that this Robin chick is going to be it. Really hope that's not true. I don't mind them reflecting on what they had or even having another "fun" evening or two, but not a full-fledged girlfriend. So do you think they will actually have a flashback or two? I never considered the possibility that they would.

I never considered the possibility that they would. You know, Waggy, I never thought of that. Maybe they won't show flashbacks. In many ways, that would be good. Season 8 has WAY too many Sam/Amelia flashbacks and I had forgotten how much I hated them. Perhaps there will just be references to the past. We'll just have to wait and see. I notice that Spoiler.TV didn't mention anything about some portraying a young Dean, that was just my supposing.
