My daughter plans to catch up with the episodes since all of us like the series. That will be fun because she notices different things than me. Then we exchange observations.

Thanks for the preview, Anti. Looks good. Will record it, as always, since all the good shows seem to be on @ 10 pm.

SoCal, you are very welcome. I manage to watch at 10 PM, but I am usually too sleepy to make comments. Then, I have to watch it again so that I can comment.

They have contracted for 13 episodes. I believe there will be a break following the 13 - like they did with Revolution.

We can only hope that the "break" won't be 4-months long, like NBC did with "Revolution." And NBC wonders why it didn't score as highly as it did when it first started......idiots.

Yeah, I hope the break is not that long. We need a refresher to remind us what happened during the prior episodes.
Kudos to Darwin for predicting there would be games played at the dome. The games are not by the military but the skateboarders are enjoying themselves. Joe's friend looked very impressed that Norrie wants to crash at the house. Joe's friend reminded me of the dude in Project X (I think that is the name) where he invited a lot of people to his friend’s house party and it turned into a disaster. Surprising twist #1 - Norrie and Joe hold hands and both start to have seizures and say pink stars are falling. Surprising twist #2 – Junior “Call me James” and Julia Shumway have started to bond. Who woulda thunk that? I thought Junior was going to attack Julia in the tunnels when he told her she should not have followed him. There were very interesting interactions between Big Jim and Barbie. I think Big Jim admires Barbie even though he is still curious about Barbie’s background. Did anyone else think Barbie seemed real antsy about avoiding Phil, the radio guy? Linda surprised me by the way she handled the rogue cop situation. She is tougher than she appeared at first. Most snarky comment: Dude in the diner: Oh…you mean the reformatory. Think they can pray the gay out of her?

The games are not by the military but the skateboarders are enjoying themselves. *laughing* Darwin takes kudos where he can get them! Thank-you!Billie’s friend looked very impressed that Norrie wants to crash at the house. Billie’s friend reminded me of the dude in Project X (I think that is the name) where he invited a lot of people to his friend’s house party and it turned into a disaster. Never saw that movie...
...but I always wonder why there is a least ONE friend who thinks it would be a GREAT idea.
Bille should lock the door next time.Surprising twist #1 - Norrie and Billie hold hands and both start to have seizures and say pink stars are falling. Pretty interesting first date story....Surprising twist #2 – Junior “Call me James” and Julia Shumway have started to bond. Who woulda thunk that? Psychopath manipulator...playing the victim....gains sympathy...I thought Junior was going to attack Julia in the tunnels when he told her she should not have followed him. He thought about it for a moment...you could tell...There were very interesting interactions between Big Jim and Barbie. I think Big Jim admires Barbie even though he is still curious about Barbie’s background. I think Big Jim realizes that Barbie DID beat up Jr...but assumed Jr had it coming...Did anyone else think Barbie seemed real antsy about avoiding Phil, the radio guy? Ooo! Ooo! Pick me! I REALLY wonder what's up with that?Linda surprised me by the way she handled the rogue cop situation. She is tougher than she appeared at first. I wa snot suprised...she was ticked off and determined. Most snarky comment: Dude in the diner: Oh…you mean the reformatory. Think they can pray the gay out of her? The Mom looked like she was going to hit him. BUT... ...where was the OTHER Mom the whole show? You think she would have showed up at the end and seen the girl and boy do the BEDROCK TWITCH... ..."There's a town I know where the cool kids go called BEDROCK..." (...twitch twitch...)

I noticed the other mom was missing.
I am still laughing about the "BEDROCK twitch!"
Edit: I liked Norrie's "Thank you for almost getting beat up for me." That was rather sweet and appropriate.
P.S. I need to correct a name - it is "Joe" not "Billie".

Sabrina's aunt runs the diner. She still doesn't know where Angie is.
I can't really say I'm enjoying it, and yet the same thing is true that was true of "Smallville" in its very early years, the only time I could claim it was my favorite show. I don't want the episode to end.
I did like the teenagers and I was surprised price gouging hadn't occurred until the party. I'm really starting to like the girl who has two mommies.
The preacher sure recovered fast.
I'm curious how there was light in the tunnels. We know the camera people had lights, but this is not a documentary.

Pastor Coggins, Norrie and Rose (diner) seem to be regulars, but they are not listed as co-stars. When Coggins kicked the can that caused the fire that burned the house down, he looked shocked and tried to put the blaze out. When Big Jim fussed, Coggins acted like he burned the house to get rid of evidence. I think Coggins was high on drugs and burning the house was an accident. He did recover fast, probably because the drugs in his system helped. Hmmm. How was there light in the tunnel? Very powerful matches?

Outbreak The townspeople were upset because the military was leaving and the people have no idea why.
I can understand the people panicking, but I think they should have saved the food they were throwing at the dome.
Linda was trying to keep people from hurting themselves when she pulled her gun, but Big Jim was able to talk the people into leaving.
*wonders if Darwin noticed there were more ‘taggers’*
When Junior brought Angie some “more comfortable clothes”, I was surprised it turned out to be her Junior Prom dress. Men have a strange concept of comfortable.
Male bonding at its finest: Barbie volunteered to go to the basement to get some cots. Big Jim instructed his son (who had been beat up by Barbie) to go help him. Junior did not look pleased.
I think the meningitis outbreak was well played. It showed how regular people can become heroes in time of emergency. Alice pitched in even though they were not her people. Ms. Moore, the teacher, gave up her medicine to ensure that Linda would have enough medicine. Barbie rescued Julia even though her survival could cause trouble for him.
I have to agree with the teacher that it was a major turn of events to think Junior Rennie with a shotgun was reassuring. In spite of that, Junior reacted admirably in talking the townspeople into calming down and remaining in the infirmary. Based on how Junior handled the situation, it made sense for Linda to give him a badge.
During the seizure, when Joe sat up with his finger to his lips indicating “shhh”, he looked very creepy.
Joe will not be home alone now that the visitors will be staying with him. He also will not be a virgin when Norrie leaves.
We now know why Barbie acted antsy about meeting Phil.
Rev. Coggins should be locked up for his own safety and the safety of all the sinners in town. Apparently, he thinks even the babies are sinners since he tried to destroy all of the medicine. (We need to do a crossover and have Castiel ask Coggins “Who are you to speak for God?!” ZAP!)
I am so glad Big Jim found Angie! I thought Junior would return and help her, but this should be more interesting.
Big Jim was just beginning to show respect for Junior. How will this affect him?
I saw nothing wrong with taking the insulin since the other mommy will need it soon. There was no indication Carolyn was taking all of it.

OutbreakThe townspeople were upset because the military was leaving and the people have no idea why. I would not take this as a BAD sign...necessarily...
...for all THEY know...there could have been ANOTHER dome drop on the next town over...
...and ANOTHER pretty red head trying to get the troops attention over THERE...
Over the radio: "Naked Lady Alert - 30 miles south!"
"Okay troops! Time to MOVE OUT!!!!"I can understand the people panicking, but I think they should have saved the food they were throwing at the dome. Yes...that is one from the bad-to-worse-and-downhill-from-there department...
...which is one of the themes for this show...
...no matter how dire the situation...there is ALWAYS SOMEONE with an instinct to make everything worse...Linda was trying to keep people from hurting themselves when she pulled her gun, but Big Jim was able to talk the people into leaving. "The mob has many heads...but no brains." - 17th century English proverb (*don't ask me WHY I remember stuff like this...I just do...)*wonders if Darwin noticed there were more ‘taggers’* The taggers were duly noted...and mocked... When Junior brought Angie some “more comfortable clothes”, I was surprised it turned out to be her Junior Prom dress. Men have a strange concept of comfortable. *laughs* We DO!!!!
But...I think in THIS case...
...If you check the replay...

I don't think THOSE items were on any deputy recruitment posters.During the seizure, when Joe sat up with his finger to his lips indicating “shhh”, he looked very creepy. This is true.
SO creepy...in fact...I was amazed they HEEDED the creepy request...because THAT is not a look one can trust...Joe will not be home alone now that the visitors will be staying with him. I initially thought it was dramatic flare that he stood in the doorway staring at her for a long time. The normal reaction would be to rush to extract her from the bunker, but Big Jim did not do that. I really want to see what Big Jim does. Even though I understand she would be uncomfortable with Barbie now, I thought Julia's reaction was a little ungrateful. Maybe Barbie and Rose will hit it off. He mentioned he was a line cook so might work in the diner.

Blaming Barbie would be easy because he is the new guy in town. Big Jim has already referred to Barbie as "a guy like you" wouldn't care if they brought the deputy in dead or alive. I hope they do not kill Angie. I like her stamina and the fact that she has not been a pitiful whiney little girl. She certainly has the right to act hopeless in her situation, but she preferred to fight. Edit: Does anyone think Bruce Willis is 1) a spoof or 2) making a special appearance

Boy, they sure got out from under that big meningitis scare rather quickly. And it looks like only one (?) person died. A little weak in my opinion. Unless, as I have opined before, it's some kind of experiment that's taking place.
Biggest surprise? That Junior gave up his gun and talked the people down in the hospital without killing anyone.
Second biggest surprise? That Angie was found when the water went off in Junior and Dad's house. Looks like Junior isn't going to be able to revel long in his father's pride when he finds out his son has been keeping a hostage.
Still trying to figure out Barbie and the girl whose husband he killed.
And Joe sitting up and staring at the phone camera while "under a spell?" Very creepy!?!
