Unforgettable is coming back this month for Carrie Wells. I like the Unforgettable series concept, but they could make Carrie more exciting. I know Hannibal is too graphic; however, they do one thing very well. When the guy is re-living what took place, they made it VERY exciting. Carrie just looks dazed to me when she visualizes what happened.
I recorded Elementary episode "The Rat Race" which originally aired October 25, 2012, and will watch that soon.

I'm not sure I'll watch "Unforgettable". I didn't see the first season, so if there was a chance I could, I might. As for Kelly, they once showed on the TV screen her learning something new and something else exiting her brain. I will try to catch the first episode of "Unforgettable" to see what Jeff means by "exciting". I do not recall seeing the clip about Kelly. It sounds hilarious. Edit: I am going to put dinner on and watch this while I eat.

Posted by Jeff96 on Today at 1:25am I know I know Kelly Bundy was an airhead. Carrie Wells' memory retained everything she saw. Now that my usual shows are on break, I can watch repeats of Elementary. I saw a 2012 episode yesterday where he has just started being supervised by Watson. It was very good. I'm not sure I'll watch "Unforgettable". I didn't see the first season, so if there was a chance I could, I might. I can now add "Unforgettable". I almost forgot to watch but I heard thunder. That made me think about whether there was any reason the weather wouldn't record. There wasn't. I wasn't going to be watching anything at 10:00 to keep the weather from being recorded and OH! "Unforgettable" is on!
I'm nowhere near as good as Carrie at remembering details. Not a good quality if you like murder mysteries.

I had no trouble remembering to watch this week.
Carrie is really good when she's undercover. I thought she was way too calm when she was almost killed.

I enjoyed the episode and I liked the way Carrie is acting more playful. She is not shy about her talents and that looks good on her.
I was suspicious of the computer geek because a mastermind would not put a nervous guy on his team.

Carrie seemed really shook up last night. You would think if she almost died she would have reacted the same way.
I am really enjoying the show.

I was suspicious of the computer geek because a mastermind would not put a nervous guy on his team. Can you tell me about the last 2 episodes? Not being Carrie, I can't remember much. The August 4 episode started with a bank robbery. Only after the masked robbers went down in the vault did we discover one of them was Carrie. Then they went back and showed how Carrie got involved with them. The head robber had never actually met the chemical weapons expert but she did look enough like Carrie that they could get away with her going undercover. The group met in a hotel room and they all used code names from the TV series "Diff'rent Strokes". The August 11 episode I don't remember and I'll have to find a summary somewhere. All I remember is that Carrie was shook up when she saw a dog.

Anti, would you do me a big favor. I should have realized I would start posting about this show every week. Jeff and I and possibly you have commented about this show on another thread. I could move my posts but it wouldn't be clear when I made them.

In case Jeff needed it, I studied the episode carefully so I would be able to write a summary. It was kind of unnerving to watch last night because I also saw the movies "Zodiac" (about a real murder case) and "Dark Matter" (more like the Virginia Tech incident) over the weekend.
A professor apparently committed suicide by jumping off the twelfth floor. Carrie knew him. He rescued her at the lowest point in her life. Her "talent" was making her very depressed because she couldn't forget the terrible things that happened to her. She wasn't as pretty in the flashbacks to nine years ago in Syracuse.
The professor did a study of people with her condition. After this study she felt better about herself and returned to being a cop. A tape was missing as the cops looked for clues. It was a tape of the participants being asked questions about what they could remember about certain dates. They didn't need the tape, of course. Carrie remembered everything.
As you might guess, the participants in the study were suspects.

Last week, the ending to the episode about the assassin did not record, but a friend was kind enough to tell me in detail how it ended.
A female assassin was trying to kill a foreign leader. She used a type of poison that could be used in small doses to induce a coma or in larger doses to kill.
Carrie's memory enabled her to recognize the assassin even though she was disguised. Then Carrie recognized changes in some rooms to help detect the assassin.
I have manually set future recordings to stop 30 minutes later, but I did not need it this week.
Memory Kings It was a very interesting episode. The theory that adrenalin was the key to forgetting was new. I do not remember Carrie mentioning that in the past. She had talked about gambling and her frustration that the only thing she could not remember was who killed her sister, but I did not know the connection..
I thought it was strange that the truck was following her for a long time and did not try to run over her until she noticed it. That made no sense to me at all.
I have watched enough crime drama to know nothing the man said will be admissible in a trial. He had already asked for a lawyer numerous times. They had NO evidence on him.
I did enjoy the episodes

Just in case Jeff hasn't seen last night's, I have.
A cab driver from Afghanistan is talking on his cell phone in Pashto. The passenger can speak Pashto. The cab driver is found dead.
It is eventually determined that the passenger may have been a soldier who was in Afghanistan and watched his best friend die by suicide bomber. He now has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Want to see how Carrie solved the case? If not the following are spoilers.
And here's how it ended. It seems the cell phone ringing in the cab reminded him that a cell phone set off the bomb that killed his friend. They figured out that the killer believed a florist was the one who made the bomb that killed his friend. The helium tanks and other stuff at the florist were not bomb-making equipment, but this is what the killer believed. Carrie remembered seeing that a wedding was taking place on August 18. Now how do they air that episode a week late? Sounds like they intended to air it last week. They arrive with lots of cops and wedding guests running out. The former soldier has an M16 on the florist along with C4 explosives set to go off. Carrie is given the job of talking the killer into giving up. She performs admirably.

Kyle, thanks for the summary.
I enjoyed last night's episode.
Carrie made a defense attorney look foolish in court. He was trying to ridicule her in front of a jury by making it seem unlikely she could quote a conversation she had with the defendant a year ago. The prosecutor and judge gave Carrie leeway to demonstrate her abilities. That was amusing.
I like the team she is currently working with. They are all smart and highly skilled. Therefore, they do not need to resent her.
They also get supporting information to back her up instead of trying to build a case solely on her memory. It is all very well done.

How many more are there in the season? "Thirteen episodes make up the second season of "Unforgettable," but not all of them are slated to air this summer. The Australian-born Montgomery hopes the show's return will fare well enough for those to be scheduled by CBS before long ... along with additional episodes yet to be ordered." courtesy of Zap2It
I checked both on-line and the TV and there is only one episode scheduled in the next few weeks. I have made a post for it.
