I think it was the one where an actor died and the producer/director pretended the man was on an extended break because he did not want the filming to be interrupted. The actor was a reformed rake who was trying to help some women who were being forced to work without pay. It was a good episode, but I kept waiting the whole time for the next one so I could see what happened to Carrie.

Yeah, I remember one with an actor but not much about the episode.
Jane Curtin was on "Saturday Night Live" last weekend. She wasn't as funny there as she is here. For some reason, NBC decided to air the episode where Chevy Chase said Francisco Franco is still dead and had this argument with Richard Pryor where they used racist insults.

Some more comments.
Barry on "The Goldbergs" said he had a pornogrpahic memory. Probably not. Sylvester on "Scorpion" says he has one. And it was very important to a case they were working on.
Jane was on "SNL" again last week. She and Dan Aykroyd were debating abortion. She was pro-choice and Dan was pro-life and called her an ignorant **** but made one exception: he would have premitted her mkother to have an abortion and would have been willing to do it himself.
She was also on a PBS program called "Makers". On her sitcom "Kate and Allie", Kelsey Grammer said , "Divorce?" And she said, "No thanks, I already had one."

Cancelled. I can't believe it. The ratings were so good.

I've read it a couple of places but I don't remember now where. I'm not like Carrie.
The male lead in "Limitless" also had Carrie's powers, but he was taking an experimental drug with dangerous side effects.

I read A&E was picking this up, but that won't help me. I can't afford all those additional channels.
And yes, you have to take them all. If you could take fewer, it would still cost as much.

I read Jane Curtin left the show. she was the reason I considered watching during Season 1. I'm concerned the changes will be too much, even if I do find a way to watch the episodes.

Jane Curtain did leave the show, but I thought you liked Poppy. They brought in a man that she married a long time ago and did not tell the team about. Then they made him a regular, but he does not seem to really fit into the storyline, imo.

I guess that's good news. I still hope local stations get to air seasons one and four.
Marilu Henner was on the tribute to James Burrows and was asked how she remembers "Taxi". She would be the one to ask.
