I enjoyed "Dirty Laundry", but I should have seen it before "M", not following it.
Some of the things that were said in "M" makes sense now; for instance, Watson's communication with Sherlock's father.

Are you 2 paying attention to the show? Whatever do you mean, Jeff? My comment before yours should indicate I am paying attention.

AA, I have enjoyed watching the characters evolve during its opening season. I was a little hard on Lucy Liu. I didn't care for the way she portrayed her character...I couldn't see any emotion in her face. But as the season progressed I stopped have negative feelings about her and by the end of the season, even came to like her. Of course, I enjoyed Johnny Lee Miller's portrayal of Sherlock Holmes from the get-go. I think he's played the part perfectly. I wonder if they'll bring back the "Mrs. Hudson" character? I am really looking forward to season 2!

ELEMENTARY stars Jonny Lee Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD's most impossible cases.
Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric Sherlock escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare - a sober companion, Dr. Watson.
A successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago, Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance.
However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he's devised his own post-rehab regimen - resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City.
Watson has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. But Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator.
Sherlock's police contact, Capt. Tobias "Toby" Gregson, knows from previous experience working with Scotland Yard that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team.
With the mischievous Sherlock Holmes now running free in New York solving crime, it's simple deduction that he's going to need someone to keep him grounded, and it's elementary that it's a job for Watson.

Tonight's episode was very good, and the ending really surprised me.
"Risk Management Sherlock accepts a case from a man who claims to be Moriarty; Gregson tries to talk Joan into giving up her dangerous line of work and return to being a sober companion."
After he suffered all that time over the loss of his lover, Irene, she appears quite well, thank you.

Thanks for the new board, Anti.
Last night's I had seen. I'm worried they're not going to repeat that episode. Honestly, it was a cruel thing to do to people on the East Coast. And I know Beyonce or whatever caused the power outage is at faut, but CBS should have given us a second chance to see that episode, regardless of how well ratings show it did.
Speaking of ratings, anyone notice we've got two sets of them again this week? That keeps happening.

Repeats don't air in order. Some do Kyle. There are some shows where they would have to, I suppose. But it rarely happens any more.

I'm still waiting for the episode that aired after the Super Bowl. "The Deductionist". I do not know if this will be helpful to you personally. CBS has a catch-up "marathon" on their website. The Deductionist can be viewed. Although a message comes on saying to download flashplayer, I ignored it and the show streamed perfectly.

When I go to the one library where I can listen, I have so much else to do. I'd rather not have to waste my time. All the other libraries expect you to provide earphones or you can buy them. At home, I have really slow Internet and no sound.

True Story
When I went to Target, I browsed their $1 bin. There were earphones (ear buds) in the bin. I wondered if they were for children, but I purchased them anyway. They work perfectly on all the electronics.
I can even use them to talk and listen on the smart phone, which was a surprise.
I was so impressed I returned to the store and bought five more because my offspring will take mine when something happens to theirs. ***
I have noticed lately that I am becoming more impatient with slow streaming. Some of that is due to not knowing if it is caused by the website or by my equipment. My equipment usually loads faster than I can blink, which has probably spoiled me.

I'm still waiting for the episode that aired after the Super Bowl. "The Deductionist". You made me really curious about the episode so I watched it on the CBS site after we chatted. It started with two very sexy ladies playing erotic games with Holmes. I thought...no wonder Kyle wanted to see this one. LOL It is a very interesting and thrilling episode. I am going to watch some of the other episodes that they skipped.

I interpreted SoCal's original statement as adding the character to the show. It would be nice to have someone to chide Holmes once in awhile now that he and Watson get along so well.
