Hi Jeff The head of HR tried to frame one of the good cops so that he could help a criminal and get paid for it. Det. Carter knew the cop was framed and helped him. The twist is that the head of HR had one of his men shoot the good cop, shoot the judge, and then shoot himself (head of HR). Of course, they were careful that the bullet did not kill the head of HR, but they did kill the other two. Did you realize the head of HR is the Aide to the Mayor? I thought he was a cop.

The head of HR was never a cop from what I have seen.

Thanks Jeff, that is good to know. I had assumed that the head of HR was a policeman who was ranked above Captain, but I was confused. Not many people know who he is.

I have grown to like Det. Fusco and I know he was hoping HR would go away because they keep threatening him and making him do things he does not want to do. Until they learn who the head of HR is, they can't do anything about the threats. I think Reese saw the head of HR once, but he has no idea that it was him.
Det. Carter's suitor might not be bad, but being in the same family as the bad guys pose a problem.

Hello Jeff I am glad you watch the show. Are you glad that they have not forgotten Harold's lady friend? She seemed like a very nice lady and I know he still watches over her. I think Harold was very lonesome until Reese came into his life. Now, he also has Bear to keep him company.

Was it that Harold died is why the lady friend doesn't know he around anymore?

I am trying to remember if she was ever aware of what supposedly happened to Harold. I don't think he ever introduced her to any of his acquaintances. If not, she would not know who to contact to ask about him. And he was using aliases. If I were to take a guess, I would guess that he just disappeared without telling her anything.

He used his real name just not what he did for a living.

Okay. Because he used his real name, when he faked his death. she would believe that Harold was dead. So sad.

Our conversation led me to look for a refresher on Harold Finch and this 5 minute featurette is exactly what I needed. Jeff, you were 100% correct on the details of Harold's life. You must enjoy his character.

It looked like Arrow was dropping in the ratings, but I see the ratings were for re-runs so that show might be okay. But Beauty and the Beast is ranked in the 90s every week. I really enjoy that drama and hope the CW does not cancel it.

I haven't been able to watch Beauty and the Beast behind the series premiere because Grey's Anatomy is on and I also watch Person of Interest and I know Beauty and the Beast is on at the same time those shows are on.

I run into that situation, Jeff, where multiple programs come on at the same time and I can't catch all of them. I have seen ads for a DVR that records up to 5 programs at once, but I am not ready for something like that because I struggle to keep up with all the shows I have recorded already.

I enjoyed the episode, with one caveat: there are getting to be way too many competing storylines. I find myself taking a beat and thinking, "who was that?"
And poor Sterling has been offed again. Guess he was getting to close to the "HR" business. He's great and I enjoyed his time on the show.
Wonder if Resse and Harold's new "partner" will take care of the psycho on Harold's trail or if she's not long for this show as well.
I didn't see a preview for next week so I'm assuming we're going to get at least a week off......again.

I enjoyed the show also. This one was like a spy thriller. Intrigue, double-cross, and murder. I lost track of the body count. I will get around to making a list of guest characters because I have difficulty telling the women apart. The one who tracked Harold down made me laugh when she referred to Reese as the guard dog instead of Bear. Sterling with the velvety voice - R.I.P. Head of HR ordered a hit on his own Godson. HR is killing too many people, especially heinous to kill officers who are doing the right thing. And for what? When the crooked officers were locked up, HR could have closed shop and gotten away with what they had done. Now they are still on a rampage because of greed. It seems to me that The Machine is directing Harold to help people who are extremely intelligent and have special skills that will help Harold in the future against The Agency. There is the con artist who helped them in the Casino heist and several computer experts in addition to the vengeful woman.

This is one of the ladies I think we will see regularly. I thought it was rather cute when she told Finch she assumed when he gave her his card that he would expect her to track him down. Finch replied he thought she would just use the card to call him. Sam Shaw (Sarah Shahi, left), a lethal female government operative on the run, finds herself in need of assistance from Reese.
