Person of Interest Genre: Crime Drama Premise: Presumed dead former CIA agent Reese (Jim Caviezel) and billionaire software genius Finch (Michael Emerson) join forces as a vigilante crime-fighting team. Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson also stars as NYPD homicide detective Carter, who is drawn into Reese's situation due to his activities.

I really enjoy this show and asked Anti to put it on the boards. Thanks, Anti.
The last three episodes have been really good. Now that Reese's old cohort from his days as an assassin has got him in her clutches, I wonder where the stories will go.
I like Carter. Her character is good and the actress is good. Not as big a fan of the male cop, Fusco. He's a little too Elmer Fuddish for me. Of course, Harold is wonderful as is Reese, although I wish he'd display a little more emotion in his facial expressions. He's a little flat. Love his dog, Bear.
I didn't see a preview after last Thursday's episode. I suppose that means no new episode this week. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

This is one of my favorite shows and is one of the few that I make sure to watch when it comes on rather than watch on DVR. I did not realize how popular it is until I saw 3sheets' ratings thread. 1. NFL Football: Vikings at Packers NBC 30.28 2. NFL Pregame (Sat) NBC 29.27 3. NFL Postgame (Sun) FOX 19.56 4. The Big Bang Theory CBS 19.25 5. Person of Interest (Thu) CBS 16.23
I read somewhere that the ratings went up after Bear (the dog) joined the cast. SoCal, I think Bear has more facial expression than Reese.
I like all the characters. Reese is dangerous and his lack of expression adds to his "I will kill you without batting an eye" demeanor. Reese was not interested in anything when we met him. That is why I enjoy his curiosity about Finch's life and the occasional small smile that we see.
Finch's back story has been revealed to some extent, but I expect to see his love interest again. At least, I hope so. He is a brilliant and complicated man. I never learned what happened to his leg.
I like Carter too. She is smart but she learned to trust Reese. I expected them to continue the story line of the cop (SPN's Gordon) who likes her, but they have a few plots brewing.
We need someone like Fusco who is tarnished and can be backed into a corner. He can play both sides, but I can tell he would rather be free to make a choice. I was happy for him when he was kissed by the beautiful lady in the last episode because he looked so pleased.
Two weeks of repeats, then another new episode.

I don't get it. It's been back for 3 new episodes, so it must be time for a 2 week break.
Stupid networks. Sick'em, Bear!

In Prisoner's Dilemma, it looked as if Reese's partner would get blown up on the roof after she shot him. I did not expect her to come back, and I wonder if she is working for the agency that tried to have them killed. Her killing the CIA agent was the best way to get Detective Carter out of that jam. I know Carter would not have killed him. I guess it is up to Finch, Bear and Fusco to rescue Reese and Carter now.

So Reese and his partner were given the same orders......"retire" their partner after their last assignment. I wonder why Reese hasn't gone after them. And why would his partner come back for him? Didn't they want her dead, too? Interesting.

So, did Reese's former partner really die? Was the name on the piece of paper she had read, "Harold?" How was Harold involved in Reese's former employment?

Yes and yes. The 2/7 "One Percent" flashback gives a clue about Finch's involvement, but I haven't finished watching it yet.
I love this show.

Hello Jeff. Although Finch's name was on the piece of paper that the black ops lady had, the flashback was about what made Finch start using the machine to help individuals.
I hope that long sentence makes sense.

They did not go into detail, but his partner, who helped to build the machine, wanted to use it to help people. His partner had a gun but they did not let us see what happened yet.

It looked like his partner was really scared but determined to help a victim whose name came up on the machine. We saw the "villain" walk past, then it went off. I can't remember if we have seen that partner in current time or only in flashbacks.
Finch was smart to get Reese to help him instead of trying to fight villains alone. Do you know what happened to Finch's leg?

Person of Interest “Relevance” was an excellent episode. I like the government operative who was highlighted (Sarah Shahi). She was smart, deadly and as cool as Reese. They would make a formidable team. The computer genius/crazy lady is still around trying to get her hands on the machine and she will kill innocent people to attain it.

I am so confused on these episodes. The episodes do not seem to be following the on-line schedule. I don't think I have missed an episode when they aired though.
On March 7, "Proteus" was about Reese going to a coastal town during a storm after the machine gave them 6 names. Finch and Reese thought the machine might be malfunctioning because it never gave them that many names before.
It was an exciting whodunit episode because no one could tell who the perpetrator was because he assumed the victims' identities. I won't say any more in case people have not seen it yet.

All In NEW S02, E18 Thu 3/14, 9:01pm-10:01pm CBS Finch and Reese head to Atlantic City to protect the latest person of interest, an elderly gambler; Carter tries to clear another detective's name. I enjoyed this episode. They brought back one of the scoundrels Finch and Reese have helped before and he is always fun to watch and Bear likes him. There was a lot of danger, action and sentimentality. HR raised their ugly heads and look out for some very surprising twists.
