I'm going to try to watch the first episode tonight before they run a new episode at (pm. I just have to get up to early on Monday morning to stay awake until 10 pm.
I still HATE the name of the show.

Online sites say a character from TWD season 1 will make an appearance on this show. Probably just a rumor.

I just watched the first episode of FTWD last night. What a colossal bore.  What a miserable cast.  Whoever the woman is playing the mother of the druggie has facial expressions that never seemed to change during the entire episode. I think I might have screamed when my son took the truck, ran over what she thought to be his friend and the friend got up and came back for more. Not her, oh no. She just looked stern. The guy playing her husband wasn't much better. The only semi interesting character was the druggie son, but I don't know how long that will last. I may watch the second episode next week, but unless there is major improvement, I won't last long.  Then I will just wait until October when TWD returns.  |

It does get better in the second episode. I felt the exact same way about that miserable pilot. The suspense was way better.

The son has a Depp thing going on.
The actress playing the mom seems to have lapses where she's not in the moment, not feeling the character.
I really like the chubby student.
I don't want to see him turn.

So far, it looks like we have 10 characters that they are showing.
Curious to see who will become the core survivor group.
My guess that the first to go will be the barbers wife.

I don't see a problem with it being here. There are no other tv shows on this section. And it is a spin off of the walking dead. Makes sense to me. |
