DC's Legends of Tomorrow is a new drama coming to the CW sometime in midseason. Here is the summary:
When heroes alone are not enough, the world needs Legends. Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat!— One in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself.
Here is the preview:
If these seems familiar to you it should- It is an Arrow/Flash spinoff.
Looks good. Hopefully it won't be on the back burner for too long.

They kept advertising it during the Flash/Arrow crossover. It doesn't look interesting to me.

At the beginning of this episode, Prof. Stein was talking to a Cisco who looked and dressed like the Earth-2 Cisco. That threw me for a loop.

Good episode in which we learn more about Rip's history. A long friendship is tragically dissolved.

1.08 Night of the Hawk (3-10-16)
The team follows Savage to an Oregon town in the 1950s, where they suspect he's involved in a string of murders; professor Stein and Sara track Savage to a hospital and go under cover to spy on him; Ray and Kendra struggle to gain trust.

Since they went to the 1950's, there were a lot of vintage cars and appliances. Hawkgirl commented that she missed Netflix.
Team members do not stick to the plan and that causes them to wind up in unnecessary danger. Hawkgirl was overzealous and Savage became suspicious.
They survived the encounter with Savage, but the bounty hunter boarded their ship and took over the control panel.
White Canary, Atom and Hawkgirl were left behind and the others were in free-fall through time on the ship.

Kendra had more difficulty adapting to life in the 1950’s than Ray did. They lived together as husband and wife and worked in unexciting jobs. Meanwhile, Sara left to go to a place where she felt at home.
The team on the ship was not enjoying life as they tumbled through time. When they finally arrived at a specific time, it was two years later than the time they left the others stranded. They found Kendra and Ray because Ray had created a beacon to summon the ship. Reconnecting with Sara presented a difficult challenge.
The biggest surprise of all was the reason Chronos kidnapped Snart when he attacked the Wavewrider.

1.10 Progeny (4-7-16)
The team is split on whether to kill a 14-year-old boy who is destined to grow into an evil dictator; Sara helps Snart through a difficult time; Ray learns something consequential to his future with Kendra.

There are two members of the team who would not have hesitated to kill the little monster. Rip and the Legends did more harm than good during their stay in 2147.
We saw more of Hawkgirl's backstory.
Captain Cold and his BFF Mick Rory worked out their personal issues the old fashioned way, with their fists.
Vandal Savage and Kendra (Hawkgirl) crossed paths once again, but he did not capture her.

I watched the beginning of the episode again because they looked so good walking slo-mo down the street in their western outfits. The bar scene was entertaining also. Snart was so cool when he was sitting at the table and shot the guy without moving. Did you notice Sara was sober and Mick was knocked out drunk on the bar counter? The way Sara and Mick were talking makes me think they might hook up at some point.
I looked up "Jonah Hex" and see he is a DC Comic anti-hero. I learn a lot about different characters when they merge them into the series that we watch.

Yes, the battle was good. But my reaction was like Firestorm's when Atom was explaining the science behind getting bigger. Wow, Savage has a beautiful daughter. I really like Snart and he is persuasive. He did a good job of exposing Savage as the villain. I notice they did not show us how the team kept eluding Savage's army and escaping because there was no logical way they could get past them.

Me too. I was wondering what he was trying to do. Firestorm was really getting excited when Leviathan was running toward Atom while he was laying on the ground. But his motivational talk worked and they did good. I should have mentioned Rip was very emotional when he could not think of a way to get them out of danger. Then Hawkgirl, Ray and Snart assured him they had a way to defeat Savage and he bounced right back. I think he was wiping tears away but he did not want the team to know.
