The ending was not a fairy tale "they lived happily ever after" ending. The team faced dark forces bent on ending the world as we know it.
I loved the way they brought the different elements of the story together and alliances formed, broke apart, and reformed into a team that motivated the regular citizens to fight the dark forces.
Arrow blended his dark side with his light and that made him strong enough to deflect Dahrk's power.
I liked when everyone decided to take a break and leave the city for a while, Felicity came into the destroyed lair and told Oliver she was there for him. So sweet.
